What to expect
Experience Kyushu’s most unique train, the Yufuin no Mori, and enjoy the best scenery during the best lighting conditions~ It feels amazing!!! Departing from Fukuoka, connect three of Kyushu’s most popular destinations in one day: Yufuin, Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Ride the popular sightseeing train Yufuin no Mori to unlock a hot spring town, geothermal wonders, and the shrine of the god of learning all at once. In the morning, when there are fewer tourists, stroll through Yufuin, feel the relaxed atmosphere of the hot spring town, and visit the anime town that resembles Miyazaki’s works; at noon, take the retro forest-themed Yufuin no Mori sightseeing train to Oita, with picturesque mountain and pastoral scenery along the way; in the afternoon, visit Beppu’s iconic blue geothermal hot spring, “Umi Jigoku”; in the evening, walk along the Dazaifu Sando, ending the day amidst century-old shops and the aroma of Umegae Mochi. The itinerary has a comfortable pace and carefully selected attractions, suitable for first-time visitors to Fukuoka who want to efficiently experience Kyushu’s classics.
Please note that the Yufuin no Mori train will not operate on the following dates and will be replaced by the retro red train [Limited Express Yufu]: July 21st-July 24th, August 31st, September 1st-September 4th. If the train is suspended, the train fare will be refunded.

Pre-trip Notification
Between 17:00 and 21:00 the day before departure, we will contact you using the contact information you provided. If you do not receive a message, please check your email. Emails may sometimes go into the spam folder. During peak tourist season, email delivery may be slightly delayed. If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest one. If you do not receive travel information, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time on the day of departure, look for the JRT tour guide flag, and inquire. • If the number of participants does not reach the minimum required for a tour, you will be notified of cancellation by email the day before departure. In case of extreme weather such as typhoons or blizzards, cancellation will be confirmed by 18:00 local time the day before departure and notified by email. Seats and Vehicles • The tour is a shared group tour, and seat allocation follows a first-come, first-served principle. If you have special requests, please make a note, and we will do our best to arrange it, but the final arrangement will be subject to the on-site situation. • The vehicle model will be arranged according to the number of participants and cannot be specified. For a small number of participants, a driver who also serves as an attendant may be arranged, and the explanation content will be relatively brief. • If you need to carry luggage, please inform us in advance. If you carry luggage without authorization, the tour guide has the right to refuse boarding, and no refund will be given. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the vehicle. If any damage is caused, compensation will be required according to local standards. Itinerary Adjustments and Safety • Japanese law stipulates that commercial vehicles may not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. Overtime will incur additional charges (ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 JPY per hour). • The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stopovers, and sightseeing times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, etc. The tour guide may reasonably change or reduce attractions based on actual conditions. • If cable cars, boats, or other facilities are suspended due to weather or force majeure, the itinerary will be changed to other attractions or the stopover time will be adjusted. • No refunds will be given for late arrivals due to personal reasons, temporary changes to the meeting point, or leaving the group midway. Any accidents or additional expenses incurred after leaving the group must be borne by the individual. Season and Scenery • Seasonal activities such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by climate. The blooming period and peak autumn foliage may be earlier or later. Even if the expected scenery is not met, the tour will still depart as scheduled, and no refunds will be given.
Other Information • Please arrive at the meeting point on time. No waiting for latecomers, and no joining midway. • It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. For winter or mountain itineraries, please bring your own warm clothing.
* The itinerary does not include personal travel and accident insurance. It is recommended to purchase your own insurance. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports carry certain risks. Travelers are advised to register cautiously based on their health conditions.
* After the tour departs, if it is forced to be suspended due to natural disasters or force majeure, no refund will be given, and travelers will also need to bear the cost of return travel or additional accommodation.
* During Japanese public holidays and peak weekend travel, there are often severe traffic jams or attractions closing early. It is recommended not to book flights, Shinkansen, or dinner for that evening, and to bring light meals and a power bank.
