Fantastic day! It was so good, we made noodles from scratch and 3 different types of ramen with toppings. My only tip/advise would be to make notes as you go along as the recipe sheet given does not miss some key bits of advise. would be great to have them on the sheet. You are trying to listen and do at the same time so it can be hard to take it all in and remember! Very worth it though and a great experience!
I had a very interesting and useful cooking class with a big group of 8 students from different parts of the world, including Europe, America, and Asia. We all enjoyed this stimulating and engaging class taught by a native Japanese teacher who spoke English very well. We started from scratch, learning about various ingredients such as soup, sauces, and even baking powder. We then learned how to prepare dough from flour and water, and make ramen noodles from the dough. We also learned to cook pork and chicken, using a variety of ingredients to create three different styles of ramen. The whole experience was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed this two-hour course. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in cooking and Japanese culture!
this was a good class, the instructors are evidently experienced and they obviously have been doing this for a long time. the instructors gave a lotmof cooking tips as well that we get to apply to our own home cooking, that was fun! and overall a really fun class to do while in osaka
We had an incredible time with the wonderful team at Sakura Cook. We learned to make three different kinds of ramen. Time flew by. The team was very attentive. The instructions were clear, we did everything ourselves, and the atmosphere was joyful. A truly great moment to share! A big thank you to the team for their hospitality.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I truly had a fantastic time and gained a lot of valuable knowledge along the way. It was both enjoyable and insightful, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new. I would definitely highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enriching experience.
I'm very happy that I took this class. Fumi-san and her staff were very helpful. The end results were very good. I look forward to trying these recipes again when I get home.
We attended Keigo’s ramen-making workshop, and it exceeded all expectations. The instructor was impeccably organized, laying out each step with clear, detailed instructions that made the whole process feel seamless. The class size was intimate, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. We learned a wide range of essential skills from dough kneading to topping preparations and we’ll definitely bring these techniques back to our kitchen. Keigo also gave us a complete recipe sheet so we can recreate the dishes at home, which was incredibly helpful. A thoughtful touch was the photo coverage: Keigo captured moments throughout the session and sent the pictures afterward, giving us a lovely keepsake of the experience. Overall, we highly recommend this class to anyone looking to master authentic ramen in a supportive, well-structured setting.
Wonderful cooking class with everything explained in great detail. Easy to flow. Very engaging and entertaining with good food :) highly recommended if you are looking for something to do for date night or want to learn how to cook authentic Japanese food
An awesome experience. Was able to cater for a sizeable group of 7. Gave clear instructions every step of the way while also providing hints to maximise flavour or efficiency and also provided reasoning behind certain steps. Once again thank you for having us.
Had a great time!! The teachers were very informative and friendly. Food was delicious. We would definitely do this again!
