The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the Kaohsiung Main Station. The staff didn't provide us early checkin which was a shame but i guess its understandable. The free snacks perk is amazing and we ate a lot of icecream which was quite yummy. The rooms felt a bit old and the TV was old too. I would have rated this hotel much higher had my bidet not broken down in the middle of me using it. Got in touch with reception and they said they cant fix and ask if we would like to change the room. Since our luggage was already unpacked, we felt it would be too tiring. The breakfast was pretty average, i think they could expand their drink options a bit.

If you’re a traveller who wants to stay in an affordable hotel but still want to experience the luxury of staying in a hotel, I highly recommend Kindness Hotel. Aside from convenience since they are just near Kaohsiung Main Station, I also love that they are very generous with their free snacks and breakfast buffet, plus staff are so kind that they even let us stay there a little more after our check out to repack our luggages. Kindness Hotel will now be my go-to hotel everytime I travel to Taiwan.

Very clean but slightly outdated design. very good value if you get a good deal. kind staff and very close to the station. The breakfast was okay… not many selections, but it isn’t a top tier hotel so it’s expected. During my stay the staff upgraded me, but the above room made a lot of noise. However the staff promptly moved me to a quiet room without hesitation.
