Chisun Grand hotel is a 10 minute walk from Nagano station. We stayed for a night and the room is pretty roomy compared to Tokyo hotels. You can also pass a conbini nearby otw to the hotel.

Great location, not far from Nagano Station. Room was huge, many nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Friendly staff. All amenities we could need were available, only issue we had was dryer didn't quite dry our clothes properly after washing. We just hung them up in the bathroom.
