As a laxurury hotel, you would expect that the yoga class, suggested by the reception to a foreigner will be in English and not in Chinese 😅 Beside that, the dinner (room service) was quite basic and expensive, consider that there are no other options around. Beside that, amazing place!

To elevate the guest experience, the resort will conduct scheduled annual maintenance of its pool facilities.

The Rooftop Pool will be temporarily closed from November 2 to November 7, 2026, and will reopen at 1:00 PM on November 7, 2026. During this period, the Rooftop Jacuzzi, Scenic Pool, and Indoor Pool will remain fully operational.

Check-in descriptions

Please be aware of the following road control measures announced by the Directorate General of Highways:

1.From Taipei/Hualien/Taitung to the hotel:

 • Control Point:

TianxiangHualien (Eastbound)-The east entrance of Shakadang Tunnel (near Taroko Visitor Center), located within Taroko National Park

HualienTianxiang (Westbound)- The west side of Lushui, not far from the hotel

 • Open Times: 06:30–08:00, 10:00-10:05, 12:00–13:00, 15:00-15:05, 17:00–17:30. 

After 17:30: Exit only and 18:00 Full closure.

 • Recommendation: Please arrive early to wait for passage.

2. From Taichung/Qingjing/Hehuanshan to the hotel:

(1) Control Point: Route 8, 117.4k (Guanyuan Police Station) and Route 8, 167.1k (West End of Tianxiang)

　 Traffic Release Times: Daily release from 06:30 to 16:30. From 16:30 to 18:30, exit traffic only; entry is prohibited. Night closures from 18:30 to 06:30. Please arrive at the control points in advance.

(2) Control Point: Route 8, 112.6k (Guanyuan Section)

　 Traffic Release Times: Once every hour on the hour, in coordination with the opening schedule at Tianxiang, until all queued vehicles have passed.

(3) Control Point: Route 8, 157.7k (Huoran Pavilion Section)

　 Traffic Release Times: 06:30–08:00, 09:45–10:30, 12:00–13:00, 14:45–15:30, and 17:00–18:00 daily, in coordination with the opening schedule at Tianxiang.

(4) For travelers heading from Dayuling to Taroko, please arrive at Tianxiang before 17:00 to avoid missing the last release period from Tianxiang to Taroko. For travelers from Taroko to Dayuling, it is recommended to depart no later than the 15:00 release slot from the 167.7k–184.5k section (Tianxiang to Taroko) to avoid the 18:00 night closure.

 • Recommendation: Please arrive early to wait for passage.
