Pros: Loved our tour of the Pumpkin Cave. Jumping off the pumpkin into the water fun! Kayaking was nice. Cons: We could not take our camera and had to rely on the photos they took for us. Unfortunately their pictures aren't super great, some turned out ok, but most were grainy. It was crowded. Group after group went into the pumpkin cave.

This time, I departed from Ishigaki Island and participated in a mangrove kayaking tour on Iriomote Island. After researching various travel agencies, I booked it through Klook, and it was operated by a local travel agency. It's about a 10-minute drive to the river → Equipment distribution + Instruction. We kayaked into the mangroves for about 20 minutes before turning back (it wasn't tiring at all and very easy to pick up 🤣). The single-trip experience isn't long, making it perfect for a half-day itinerary. There's a simple restroom on-site where you can change clothes. 👌 👕 Recommended Attire: Long-sleeved shirt (for sun and mosquito protection) Shorts (they will definitely get wet) Hat (it gets very sunny) Remember to bring a change of clothes. 🗣 Language: English/Japanese is available, but communicating through gestures is perfectly fine. 👉 My 63-year-old dad completed it successfully! 🤣 P.S. You'll need to purchase your Iriomote Island ferry tickets separately (round-trip tickets are not included). The mangrove forest kayaking and snorkeling were absolutely fantastic. Even though the weather wasn't great, Makoto-san's excellent guidance made it an unforgettable experience.

My wife and I enjoyed this activity very much. We were guided by Mr. Yoshi who despite his limited English ensured that we had a safe and very enjoyable experience. The kayak is well maintained and comfortable. The river is calm and was easy to navigate. We managed to explore the mangrove forest and cave openings. The pace was good and we felt very relaxed and peaceful throughout. At the turnaround point, we landed our kayak for a simple tea break. Mr. Yoshi helped us look for the mud skippers and hermit crabs. We did not have to bring our our mobile phones as Mr. Yoshi help took the photos which he shared with us after the trip. There is also toilet and washing facility at the start/end point of the tour. We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel near Maesoto Beach. Highly recommended if you want to see nature in a different way and want to try kayaking!!

I booked a Kerama Islands snorkeling plus sea turtle swimming package via Klook, with Miegusuku Port as the meeting point. I self drove so I did not use the provided pick up service, and parking at the port is chargeable. Check in started around 8.20am. Onboard, all equipment such as wetsuits, masks, fins, and life jackets were provided, along with a safety briefing and optional add ons like banana boat rides, jet ski activities, and GoPro rental. The boat reached the snorkeling site in about 20mins, where we entered the water in guided groups. After an initial session and a short break on the yacht with tea provided, participants split into different activity groups. The sea turtle experience involved a short banana boat ride to a nearby spot, where staff first checked for turtles before we snorkelled in the area, followed by additional free snorkeling nearby. We returned to the yacht around 11.00am and arrived back at port at about 11.50am, with equipment cleaned on board.

what a wonderful way to experience Okinawa and Onna with Pink Mermaid! we love Miyu (hope I spelled correctly), she guided us as a family in the water was conscious of the reefs and importantly took so many beautiful videos and photos of all of us! We could not have done this ourselves since from our perspective the water looked cloudy, however the GoPro proved differently! thank you Pink Mermaid and Miyu for making amazing memories for our family. While this was supposed to be blue cave, the weather/wind did not allow for it, but it worked out because we wanted to see more diverse fish and reef anyway! you would not get to experience this at the blue caves!

We recommend adding them on Line beforehand. Then, use the Google Maps link on your booking confirmation to drive to the destination parking lot. You'll find their company's small van at the exit. The instructor is very hospitable and speaks English. The underwater scenery is beautiful with lots of fish, but it might have been a bit crowded since it was a Saturday.

Highly recommended! Anyone visiting Okinawa should definitely go to the Blue Cave, and this tour provides excellent service. Our guide, AKA, took great care of us and captured beautiful photos and videos. We went as a family of three (parents and child), and our child absolutely loved it. AKA also took wonderful care of our child. Everything felt very safe. I highly recommend this to anyone!
