We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Gubei Water Town. Our tour guide, Cindy, was very responsible; she contacted me in advance and arranged to pick us up from a hotel near us. The service was excellent. 👍

My tour guide was Cindy. She was so kind and so accommodating, fast responses and very communicative even when we ended up being lost during our free time in Gubei water town. She kept everyone organized despite being in a large group. She pays so much attention, and I can see her passion as a tour guide. For any advice for people coming in March, wear at least 4 layers because it is quite chilly!

That was an amazing trip! Great thanks to Cindy for the guidance. Highly recommend this service and the place. Simatai is the place part of the wall. Take the day walk to the wall by foot: it’s easy 1 hour hike, but you enjoy it much more. and definitely take the hotpot the guide recommends as it is really good.

I was left with only positive impressions of the tour. Everything went according to schedule: they met me on time at the subway, as agreed, no delays. Special thanks to the guide Cindy - a very pleasant and knowledgeable young woman. She told interesting stories along the way, so the road flew by. The location itself - Gubei Water Town and the section of the Wall next to it - is beyond praise. This is exactly what you need if you want a real atmosphere and great photos without an endless stream of tourists in the frame. There was enough time for inspection and photography, no one rushed us. Very beautiful, authentic look. A great option for a first acquaintance with the Wall or for those who have already been to the popular sections. I recommend it!
