nice hotel, good rate, staff are friendly, and helped me with Yamato transport to get my suitcases to the next hotel. Room size is big enough, more normal size than other hotel. it has coin washer and dryer.

Absolutely loved my stay here—elegant, spacious, and super well-located. The room felt luxurious and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly helpful. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days exploring temples and gardens. Definitely one of my favourite hotels of the trip.

Great hotel and service. Also the room size is a win compared to other hotels. Location wise not that convenient tho. Nice bfast.

Excellent location. I didn’t want to leave. Desk managers and all staff were impeccable with professionalism and helpfulness. The amenities are great and the view from our 4th floor corner room was of mountains and sakura. The train station is just a short walk, close to coffee shops, a little local bar and quick walk to the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Definitely would stay again.

The hotel is in a good location, next to the shopping street. The room is bright and comfortable. However, the male waiter at the counter was a little inconsiderate and could not provide immediate assistance to tourists. He was also unwilling to help tourists. I was a little disappointed with the education and training of Hoshino's employees.
