Trying on a kimono that day was truly a unique experience. First, there was the furisode, so wide and large that the sleeves almost brushed the ground. The material was fine silk, embroidered with delicate cherry blossom patterns, smooth to the touch. The master dresser who helped me dress was extremely skilled, wrapping layer upon layer, starting with the juban, then the nagajuban, and finally the gorgeous outer robe. The sash was tied so tightly that it almost took my breath away. I suppose this is why Japanese women are always soft-spoken and act so gently—being bound so tightly, no one could stride or speak loudly. A small pillow-like object was inserted into the waist; the master dresser said it was an "obiage" used to secure the wide obi belt. The obi knot was tied in the back, very intricate, and I was told there are various styles, but mine was just the most common. This attire has a certain dignity, as if you're not just wearing a garment, but putting on a whole set of behavioral norms. Looking in the mirror, the person reflected suddenly seemed much more reserved. My back straightened involuntarily, my head lowered slightly, and even my smile became more subtle. The beauty of the kimono probably lies not in how it adorns the body, but in how it restrains the heart, teaching people to quiet down from the outside in. Wearing this garment felt like draping an entire culture over my body.

The guide Megumi was great and she took us through the market and let us experience new foods. One of things we were able to try was puffer fish sashimi. Overall pretty good experience and a good way for people to get exposure to japanese food.

✨ My Own Osaka & Kyoto Trip Review ✨ I was lucky enough to book this trip the day before departure, so I was able to join right away. It was a group tour where we all met at designated locations and traveled together, and I was excited and full of anticipation from the start. What impressed me most was our guide's attitude. I'm sure tour guides repeat the same routes and explanations every day, but I was truly touched when they said at the end, "I guide the same route every day, but I always do my best within it." And there was a really funny moment too. I heard that people in Osaka respond when you do the "bang" gesture, so I tried it the day before coming to Kyoto, but no one reacted. If I had gone to Kyoto first, LOL, I wouldn't have been so embarrassed. The guide even told me the right way to do it! This is a real, honest review! These small episodes are what I'll remember most, haha. The guide's explanations were informative and entertaining, so there wasn't a dull moment. If I ever come back to Japan, I definitely want to use this tour company again, and with the same guide. Thank you so much. My only regret was arriving a bit late ㅠㅠ Everyone needs to be on time so that others' schedules aren't disrupted. I realized I need to be punctual in the future. If other customers are also on time, it will be an even more perfect tour! 💗

Great view on the river from the boat! Boat ride takes 20 minutes. Do walk about 5mins further from the Glico man - alight at the Minatomachi pier. Look for the Indy Tour booth.

Awesome, it helped me save a lot of money. I traveled back and forth between Kyoto, Uji, and Nara from Osaka for three days. My method was to first use the navigation to determine which train I needed to take, and then find the one that matched the regulations in the pictures. This allowed me to use it without any problems.
