Experience: The sunrise is incredibly moving, watching the sun emerge from the horizon. Because sunrise tours require an early start, there are usually fewer people, and the instructors often take the opportunity to capture many beautiful photos. Safety: The waters around Suogang are actually quite safe. Under the guidance of an instructor and with the protection of a life vest, it's quite easy to get back on the board if you accidentally fall into the water (the instructor will also help you get back on).

This package is a good deal as it covers the flights from Songshan to Magong, transport from every stop, 2 nights hotel, guided activities, and some meals. I think eating was really the biggest highlight for us as we didn’t pick the water activities. We chose to do the island hopping and it’s quite chill walking around the small islands. The Magong guide (Wen Yi) was hardworking and communicative. It’s very organized as the agencies combine different travelers together from different itineraries. No complaints! You should speak Chinese as I didn’t see many English speaking guides and you should be prepared for the heat in July and extreme sunlight.

Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.

My first island-hopping trip to Donghai was quite fun! We set off at 10 AM, and the captain first took us to see the magnificent basalt columns. Then, we went to the island village for lunch (seafood congee + three side dishes), where locals were selling fresh, delicious sea urchins for 200 each. After eating, we headed to Pengpeng Beach for water activities. We started with inflatable games, then moved on to the slide, diving, and swing in the sea. Finally, we tried stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). After finishing around 4 PM, we prepared for our return, concluding a full day of activities.

Getting around the island by scooter was incredibly convenient! **Mudouyu Lighthouse Was Very Unique** The lighthouse itself is beautiful, and the surrounding seascape is endless. The blue sky and white clouds paired with the emerald green water make for a picture-perfect paradise! The guided tour helped us learn more about the lighthouse's history, making it a worthwhile visit. **Water Activities Were Super Fun** Snorkeling, SUP, banana boat, and other activities were all included. The instructors were professional and humorous, and safety measures were well in place. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many tropical fish; the underwater scenery was truly stunning! We had an absolute blast with the water activities and it was completely worth the trip. **High Degree of Freedom on the Island** After renting a scooter, we could leisurely explore Qibei Island, enjoying the white sand beaches, fishing village charm, and seafood snacks at our own pace. The feeling of not being rushed was fantastic. Riding the scooter on the beach at sunset with the breeze was incredibly romantic! Overall, this itinerary offers excellent value for money, including ferry tickets, scooter rental, water activities, and the lighthouse tour. It covers all the main highlights in one go, so you don't have to run around organizing things yourself. The lighthouse is beautiful and the weather is also great. We departed early, so the sunlight was just right for taking good pictures.

I loved the entire itinerary today! Xiao Tie, Xiao Ai, Xiao Lu, and the part-time assistant were all very dedicated and helpful! First we played in the water, then went fishing 🎣, then ate, and then visited some spots! There were both active and relaxing activities 👍 The overall arrangement was excellent 👍 If I come to Penghu again, I will definitely recommend it to friends and repurchase 💖 However, there was just one small issue: the schedule stated that check-in was by 8:40 AM at the latest!! But the instructor didn't arrive until 8:40 AM, haha 😆 We waited for a while. This could be improved 🌷

Fish Trapping with Stone Piles Stone piling is another traditional fishing method in Penghu, besides stone weirs. It involves building stone piles (piers) in the intertidal zone during low tide. After fish use these piles as habitats, a net is used to catch them when the stone piles are dismantled. My younger daughter and I participated in this activity last year. She couldn't stop talking about it afterward and kept saying she wanted to bring her mom and sister to experience it. So, we took the opportunity during this trip to Penghu to do it again.

The lobster instant noodles contained a good amount of lobster, but some pieces might have been frozen for too long, as the meat lacked sweetness, which was a bit disappointing. However, what's truly commendable is that throughout our visit, both the sweet potato and other staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied.
