My friends and I booked a Tuscany tour, and our guide, Gabriel, was incredibly kind. He explained everything so well and took lots of great photos for us. Civita di Bagnoregio was also wonderful, and his extensive knowledge of wine was very helpful.

I went on a Vatican tour today, and 'moving' doesn't even begin to describe it. You'll truly understand why visiting the Vatican is a must when you come to Rome! Thanks to our guide's detailed explanations, I was able to go beyond simply looking at the artworks and truly feel the history and the intense struggles of the artists embedded within them. It was especially moving to see Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' and 'The Last Judgment' in the Sistine Chapel. The moment I saw works I'd only read about in books with my own eyes, I understood why people call this place a sacred site. My feet were a bit sore, but it was a worthwhile experience beyond measure. For those planning a trip to Rome, I highly recommend the Vatican tour!

We used this tour for our honeymoon, traveling from Florence to Rome. I highly recommend it for anyone who finds the idea of dragging luggage around in the hot summer daunting, or for those who want to escape the city and enjoy scenic countryside views. Our guide, Cielo Kim, was incredibly passionate and made the bus journey engaging, even playing opera music from performances she had been in, which was a memorable touch. We took photos at scenic spots along the Cypress Road and in Bagnoregio, and enjoyed a wine tasting at a winery where we learned about the wines. Additionally, on the way to Rome, she provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and souvenir shops, which was a great help in wrapping up our trip. If you have a travel plan from Florence to Rome, I suggest dedicating a day to this tour.

It was a fantastic trip! The vendor and customer service team promptly resolved any issues that arose. Our tour guide was also very attentive and thoughtful, ensuring we had enough time at each attraction. Thanks to the excellent organization, there were no delays. It was truly a wonderful journey!

I was the only Korean, and when I travel, I prefer to hear explanations in English or the local language rather than Korean. It feels more exotic and gives a better sense of the place. Also, the guide was incredibly kind to me, even though I was the only Korean, so I had no problems enjoying the itinerary! It was a lot of fun!!!

Bought the Trenitalia pass on Klook and got my e-ticket instantly. Activation was super easy and the QR code worked at every station from Rome to Venice. Trains were punctual, clean, and comfortable. Having unlimited travel saved me so much vs buying single tickets and let me do spontaneous day trips. Klook’s customer support was also responsive when I had a question. Best way to explore Italy by train!

I initially had low expectations for the Tuscany tour, as I mistakenly thought it was a winery tour due to a date issue. However, the tour with <Guide Gabriel> was incredibly satisfying! If I had more time, I would have booked another tour right away. I signed up alone, but the guide diligently took photos like a professional photographer and was very accommodating with the schedule to ensure I made my train to Rome 🥲. I'm truly grateful and hope to see you again on another tour if the opportunity arises!

Remarkable Landmarks and Must-Visit Sights

Bernini Sculptures

Step into the Galleria Borghese and admire the breathtaking sculptures of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, where marble seems to come to life. Masterpieces like David and Rape of Proserpine showcase his unparalleled artistry in capturing movement and emotion. Housed in the former Villa Borghese, these sculptures reflect the grandeur of Cardinal Scipione Borghese’s collection, making this art gallery a true treasure of Rome.

Apollo and Daphne by Gian Lorenzo Bernini

Among Bernini’s most captivating works, Apollo and Daphne illustrates the dramatic moment of Daphne’s transformation into a laurel tree. Displayed in the Villa Borghese Pinciana, this masterpiece embodies the expressive dynamism of the Baroque golden age. Every detail, from the flowing drapery to Daphne’s delicate fingers turning into leaves, highlights Bernini’s extraordinary talent.

Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese) Art Collection

The Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese) houses an exceptional collection of paintings, sculptures, and antiquities, featuring works by Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, and Lorenzo Lotto. Notable pieces include Sacred and Profane Love by Titian, the striking chiaroscuro of Caravaggio’s masterpieces, and the refined elegance of Giovanni Bellini. The gallery, once part of the entire Borghese estate, offers visitors an immersive journey through Renaissance and Baroque art.

Cultural and Historical Significance

The Borghese Villa exemplifies the artistic patronage of the Borghese family during the eighteenth century. Now under the Italian state, it stands as a testament to Rome’s enduring artistic legacy. Once a symbol of power and sophistication, it remains one of the world’s most prestigious museums.

Architectural Marvel

The palace itself is an artistic wonder, with its elegant walls, rooms, and frescoes painted by Cavaliere d’Arpino. The interiors feature stunning ancient mosaics and intricate details that bring the spirit of the Roman period to life. Strolling through the surrounding gardens of Villa Borghese, visitors can appreciate both art and nature in perfect harmony.

Local Cuisine

No visit to Rome is complete without savoring its culinary delights, much like admiring the Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese). Enjoy classics like Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, and crispy Supplì, paired with local wines. Savor Porchetta and Carciofi alla Romana, showcasing rich Roman flavors. End with Tiramisù, as timeless as Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s sculptures. Whether dining near the site or exploring markets, every dish reflects Rome’s vibrant history and culinary artistry.
