Haiphong

Our guide, Ha, was very informative and friendly. We did all modes of transportation for this day tour. We rode a bus from Hanoi to Haiphong, and since it was low tide then, we got the chance to take the cable car going to Cat Ba Island. From Cat Ba Island, we rode another bus to the harbor. Then we rode a small boat from the harbor to take us to the cruise. The cruise was stunning and looks very brand new. Crew were very friendly. Cruising along Lan Ha Bay was breathtaking. Although the lunch was not buffet since we were only 35 pax, it was plated but still very good. After lunch, we rode the small boat again to take us to Viet Hai Village where we rode an electric car to take us to the village. We really enjoyed riding the bicycle within the village. It was so peaceful in the village. After that, we rode the small boat back to the cruise so start swimming/kayaking. Then we had afternoon tea with fruits and pastries. Great weather w/ sun but cool wind. Highly recommend doing this

We had an amazing time. The food was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. Shout out to the team leader, Vinny, and our favorite girl, Le Quyen, exceptional at helping us taking pictures, bringing us specialty dishes, desserts and make sure we got our drinks.

Anna has a great deal of experience and provided excellent service. The entire crew was friendly and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Mr Andre and Mark for always making me feel welcomed and well taken care of on board.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful views, a friendly crew, and a well-organized tour. Swimming, kayaking, relaxing on deck - what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

Reasons for choosing Lan Ha Bay: 1. Wanted to avoid the cave itinerary in Ha Long Bay day trips, as we have seen many similar landscapes in southwestern China. 2. Increased the budget for meals. 3. Interested in the original ecological village environment of Cat Ba Island. After the actual experience, all of the above expectations were met, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. The types of seafood meals on board depended on the ingredients that could be purchased in the market that day. Unfortunately, in November, we could only eat cuttlefish and prawns that are available in all seasons, and the variety was far less abundant than in the peak season. Nevertheless, the food was very delicious and varied. Our guide, Billy, was very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a very comprehensive introduction to Vietnam's modern history and current development. His English was clear and accurate, and he followed international etiquette, which impressed me very much. If I have the opportunity in the future, I will consider staying overnight on Cat Ba Island.

Don't look any further our experience on D'Charme cruise was perfect, from contact before pick up at our hotel, the lunch was plentiful and tasty. The boat itself had lots of room to relax in between an itinerary of visiting the viethai village for cycling and fish massage all included in the tour, kayaking and two swimming opportunities!! One thing to note for us the trip finished at 17:30 but the booking stated 15:45 but this meant more time to enjoy the sunset!! The tour company also allowed an early departure at around 15:30 (possibly due to the difference in information) Thank you very much we had a great time!

it was an amazing experience on a cruise at Halong Bay. wanted to book Venus but was full and was offered Diana with a top up as it was a new boat. cabin was nice. The booking agent Ms Elodie was really helpful in pre and post booking to ensure logistics and communication. recommended !

This was one of the best experiences we had. Right from pickup to drop everything was so professional. The ambience and beauty of the ship was amazing. The rooms were so spacious and comfy. The food was the best we have had on our trip. The staff were very sweet and hard working. Overall we are so happy, we chose velar of the seas and we will continue to do the same during our next visit to Vietnam
