Fantastic 5.0
A nice hotel to stay in as shopping mall have a direct access from the hotel. Hotel Staff are nice and professional. I have no issue in staying and it surprised me that you can on the fan and switch off the aircon. A plus point for me. I will come back again.

Fantastic 5.0
My stay was wonderful. My room was cleaned every day, the water station was very convenient and breakfast was great. The best part of the trip was the location, not quite in the centre of KL but close enough. Also near to a mall and several other places, loads of options within walking distance.

Fantastic 5.0
Komune Living Hotel is located in a very strategic area, making it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the convenience of having Starbucks, facial treatments, and massage services right at the Ground Floor adds great value to the stay.

Fantastic 5.0
Stayed at Lloyd’s Inn KL recently and had a pleasant experience overall. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Special mention to one of the male Malay staff members (slim and fair-skinned) who was very attentive and provided excellent service, although I didn’t manage to get his name. The standard room was comfortable, but a little on the small side. The shower water pressure could also be improved as it felt quite weak. However, the view and the hotel’s signature open-air bathroom concept were absolutely fantastic and made the stay feel unique. Breakfast was surprisingly good, and it seemed like the menu rotates daily, which was a nice touch. My only real complaint is the parking fee. Hotel guests still need to pay RM20 for parking, which feels unnecessary and a bit disappointing. Overall, a unique and relaxing stay with great service. Would definitely consider returning.

More about Kuala Lumpur hotels

Overview of staying in Kuala Lumpur

Staying in Kuala Lumpur shows a modest spread between the most affordable and most premium options — the top-tier is roughly three times the bottom-tier — so you can stretch your budget without jumping to extreme prices. The best balance for value-conscious travellers tends to be the premium tier, which offers the strongest mid-point between cost and comfort.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the low end and are the most budget-friendly choice for travellers focused on saving rather than extras. Standard rooms are a small step up in comfort and cost, appealing to travellers who want a bit more convenience without a big premium. The premium tier represents the best value and is the natural sweet spot for many visitors, offering noticeably better quality for a moderate additional spend. The largest price leap comes when moving from premium to luxury, so choosing luxury is the key decision point for travellers willing to pay substantially more for top-end amenities and service.

When travellers from the Philippines typically book

Room rates are usually lowest in 2026-03 and reach their highest in 2025-12; if your priority is a budget-led trip, aim for the cheaper month. Travellers from the Philippines generally secure rooms around three to four weeks ahead (about 25 days), with availability often permitting some flexibility but more certainty when booking earlier in the priciest month.
