Asahikawa

JR INN Hotel is fantastic! The large public bath is great for relaxing after a long day. After a soak, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and admire the scenery in the relaxation area! Convenient transportation: The location is super convenient, right outside Asahikawa Station. It's easy to get to attractions with many buses available. We took a bus from Asahikawa to Sapporo in just 2 hours, which was super convenient. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Asahikawa! 👍

Always my go to hotel in Asahikawa. This is my third or fourth time here. The best in location. It's in front of Asahikawa station and Aeon mall and within the shopping street. Of course, I'll stay here again when I return to Hokkaido.

I had a great experience at OMO5 before and I'm really looking forward to OMO7. The service staff are all very friendly, the lobby is well-designed, and the bed and pillows in the room are very comfortable. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a rush this time and didn't have time for breakfast. The floating chair design in the large public bath is okay, but the bathroom with a bed and the aromatherapy room are a bit puzzling. The laundry room with 6 machines is great. During peak hours, if someone leaves their clothes in the machines after they're done, the staff will move them to save waiting time for others. Overall, it feels like an old hotel that has been renovated, so some of the spatial design feels a bit awkward, but since I don't use it, I just feel like it could be improved.

Awesome stay in Asahikawa. Hotel was just next to JR Asahikawa Station. Check in staff was helpful and able to get us our 2 rooms next to each other.The rooms were clean and up to standard. Toilet however was cramped and toilet bowl is a challenge for adults to sit on due to the small size.Everything else was great. Parking is behind the hotel in a multi-storey carpark and cost 1200yen/night (it is not free as I thought for hotel guest as per stated on the placecard hotel lobby). Do not lose your ticket as you need to pay at the reception counter before heading to your car. Nearby Aeon Mall for your food and shopping/groceries/cinema. Hotel location: Next to JR Asahikawa Station and Bus Interchange. Cleanliness: Very clean. Transport access: Right infront of the hotel's doorstep. Overall a good hotel to stay. Cheers!

The hotel is spacious enough for four people and the large public bath is not crowded, which is great. Many Japanese locals and Koreans visit, and it's convenient to use various facilities because it's in front of the station. However, I booked a room without breakfast for about 18.5 on Thursday through Klook, but the booking showed about 22 with breakfast included on Friday, so there is some price difference. Breakfast has a decent variety and is quite good, so I highly recommend adding it to your reservation.

The room and the view are very nice, especially the dinning area is at 15th floor. The breakfast has different cuisine which suitable for local and people from oversea. Excellent experience. Surrounding has a lot of restaurant and convenience stores.

The hotel is very new. The rooms are large enough to open two 29-inch suitcases and still have space. It's clean and tidy, the hot spring is comfortable, and the service is also very good. The underground lounge has popsicles, drinks, coffee, and alcoholic beverages available.

It was nice that it's close to Aeon Mall and there's a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast, and there's a famous ramen shop nearby. If you come to this neighborhood again, I recommend you visit the place that specializes in oysters; it's really delicious.

We joined a one-day tour with our guide, Emma. She was full of humor, and since there were Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino speakers on the bus, she patiently repeated everything three times. I've included a photo of Emma walking in the snow from behind. Biei Farm was the most enjoyable stop; we rode snowmobiles. I highly recommend getting one per person for a better experience, but the person in front of me was too slow this time, so I didn't get to experience the thrill of speeding up. You absolutely must try the milk and ice cream at Biei; they were delicious! However, be aware that ice cream is not allowed on the bus, and if your tour includes a meal, you might not have enough time to finish your ice cream. The only downside of the one-day tour was that we had to leave Asahiyama Zoo before seeing all the animals. The Ningle Terrace was wet and a bit dirty due to melting snow, and without the lights on, it wasn't very impressive. We should have spent more time at the zoo, haha. If it's not dark yet, you're not interested in creative crafts, and you haven't eaten properly all day, I suggest eating directly at the restaurants near Prince Snow Resort instead of going into Ningle Terrace, as the restaurants close at 3:30 PM.
