Things to do in Chongqing

Booking tickets on KLOOK gave us peace of mind as we just needed to go to the theater and redeemed the tickets with our passports. The performance was great, and if you do not understand Mandarin Chinese, there is a translator device available to use but you will have to pay a deposit of RMB150 which is refundable upon return of device. To be honest, the translation was a bit slow compared to what the performers were saying on the spot. Be sure to get the revolving seats to enjoy the performance fully.

A magnificent day out in a large and comfortable van. A little bit of rain is not to worry about as you might see some waterfall. However the path and rocks get slippery so non slip shoes are essential. In winter, using self heat packs will make your hike more comfortable. The paths are one way, make sure to follow the mainstream tourists to ensure you're going the right way

i must say this is worth an experience. the show's production is marvelous and interactive. even if you can't understand mandarin, you can understand the show through context clues. every dish are aesthetically curated and plated.

After your order is confirmed, you won't receive a voucher. You'll need to add the merchant's WeChat and provide your order number to them. The merchant will provide a QR code the day before the activity, which will be sent to your Klook account. First, go to the visitor center and use the ticket vending machine to scan the ticket QR code and get a queue number. Upon entering the verification area, take another red label queue number. Wait for your number to be called, then queue up for ticket verification and security check. Scan the QR code for ticket verification.

This is definitely a must-try activity when in Chongqing. Conquer your fear while enjoying the city's skyline during sunset. Not for the faint hearted though.

We took the Chongqing Two Rivers Cruise at 7:30pm and really enjoyed it. Communication beforehand was smooth and easy via WeChat. The earlier cruise was less crowded, which made for a more relaxing experience. While the full city lights weren't on at the start, we caught the last half hour of them — just enough time to enjoy the skyline and take some great photos. Be sure to head up to the roof deck for the best views, though indoor seating is more comfortable. Drinks and snacks are available on board too. A lovely way to take in Chongqing’s riverside scenery!
