Chongqing Banquet of Ba: a Thousand-Year-Old Court Feast

Had lunch here with my friends and her kid. We didn’t add on the costumes and makeup but overall the price we paid per adult is very worth it, around $60 per pax. I enjoyed the show a lot, it was very professional and feels grand. However, the meal is basically a chicken collagen broth (similar to HDL) and they will provide you with all the hotpot ingredients + a small tomato baked rice. I enjoyed the 8% alcohol plum drink alot though, didn’t taste like alcohol and my face wasn’t red like usual.

it was a fun experience. there were varieties of food, including hotpot with meat, mushroom and fresh vegetables. nice dance and singing performances. the stage, lighting and the surrounding screen adds to the overall vibes. kudos to the staff who have to serve and clear heavy platings for each guest and ensure it’s done before the lights out for each performance. performers did a good job as well, engaging with the audience. only thing I hope the words at the screen were clearer so those at the back can actually read the words clearer. overall, highly recommended!

The performance and food is worth more than what I paid! Can never get eat healthy feast with a dance performance at a very reasonable price in Singapore. Worth the journey. I truly enjoyed throughout.

Read from reviews that the banquet can cater vegetarian meals set which is great as similar banquet in other cities can't do. This banquet was the highlight of our Chongqing stay, bringing to life the ancient palace banquet atmosphere which we have only been watching from movies. Even our teenage kids were enjoying the whole programme from pre-game activities, meals to the performance. Booking via Klook was very easy. Really worth the money, highly recommended.

Lunch starts at 12noon and there's time for some activities and games around 40mins before that but we arrived too late and missed that section but on time for the 'Royal banquet' to start. We opted for meal only without dressing up.. The location was quite far from the other tourist locations.. Took around 25min taxi ride from Ciqikou... The meal was appetizer, mushroom hotpot, mains, plum wine etc.. I didn't love everything but was a nice try.. Performances were top notch and the jester was funny and engaging

Amazing experience front start to finish! An impressive venue and Fabulous feast with beautiful presentations and unique menu items. The female servers wore elegant traditional costumes. The entertainment was magnificent with captivating performances, music and large screen backgrounds.

Li Yan Ba Guo is an absolute must for anyone visiting — a true feast for the senses. The flavors are bold and rich, the ingredients fresh and perfectly balanced, and the presentation is as stunning as the taste. Every bite tells the story of Chongqing’s culinary heritage, making it an unforgettable experience. Unique experience, cool performances about the history of the area, food quite unique, individual hot pot style. Had station games before the banquet which was fun! would recommend:)

It was a great experience, with performances between each course showcasing Bashu culture and history, as well as interactive segments. The food was very unique and exquisite. The hot pot included sea cucumber, abalone, shrimp, beef, mushrooms, vegetables, and fish, and we left feeling very full.

i booked for Saturday lunch and it completely worth it! because we had full time for taking pictures and content with dress under a natural light. Then we went to drone show which is every Saturday. The show made me cry, embrace and laugh. EXTRA CHARGES: Going on the stage to get private dance performance and getting professional video costs 298 rmb. Extra photo downloading from photoshoot 50 rmb per photo. But I was happy with one photo (which is included in package). I aware girls choosing carefully the red dress, cause it might make you look a bit older. The food was delicious and beautiful. the wine left butterflies in my heart 😭💔 Soooo good, and they sell bottles as well, it was ~68rmb per bottle. but you can try various wine for free. The private dancer is so good, so I couldn’t resist my shyness 😝😝😝 Dancer was very handsome af. Had no problems with ticketing, makeups and dressing. Makeup isn’t that cringe as I used to see on TikTok videos where people get makeup for photoshoot.
