Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel), also known as the Iron Lady, is the tallest structure in Paris, France, and one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. Each year, over 7 million people visit this tourist attraction, drawn by its breathtaking views, fascinating history, and dazzling light show of sparkling lights every evening. Constructed for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, the tower was the vision of two engineers, Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, and brought to life by designer Gustave Eiffel, whose company oversaw the construction. Built with 2.5 million rivets, it became the tallest structure in the world until surpassed by the Chrysler Building in New York in 1930. At first, critics, including the French newspaper Le Figaro, mocked the project. Some even called Eiffel a con artist. But over time, the tower grew beloved, especially after its transformation into a radio antenna hub that helped France during World War I. Today, visitors not only enjoy the aerial view of Paris but also discover restaurants, shops, museums, and even a small apartment once used by Eiffel himself.

When I rode the Big Bus, there wasn't a separate place to scan the barcode. Even when I showed it to the staff, they just told me to get on. Since there's no ticket exchanged, it might be a bit inconvenient when you want to take the river cruise. So, with the help of the cruise staff, we searched the Big Bus website, entered our reservation number, and were issued a ticketing barcode to board the cruise, which worked out well. We rode the Big Bus, took photos at the Arc de Triomphe, and then ate and enjoyed ourselves on the Champs-Élysées. Since it was getting late, we walked to the river cruise. Have a pleasant trip! The cruise is especially beautiful around 10:30 PM.

This was our first time choosing a hop-on hop-off bus in Paris. It was a top recommendation on Klook with excellent reviews. The driver was polite, the ride was smooth, and there were stops at all the famous landmarks, which was very convenient. We purchased the three-day bus package with a river cruise, offering flexible itineraries, perfect for a family trip.

A rail pass is truly excellent, especially during discount seasons. If your general itinerary is set, a pass valid for several trips within a month is very convenient. Additionally, once you factor in the TGV reservation fee, it's almost the same as the original price, but it's still more cost-effective than booking at the last minute.

It was easy to locate though I got confused if it was the same train as the one on the tv is different but confirmed it with the customer service in the train station. the train itself is great with table and wifi so I was able to work for 4 hours before sleeping.

The pick up shows the bus station, but for future tourists, do know that you can choose to have the pick up at the disney hotel you are staying at, instead of traveling to the bus station! Saved us so much time and energy :) The bus was also very clean, overall a great choice.

BEST EUROPE EXPERIENCE EVER. It was the worthiest experience from all 8 countries we have been. The Paris photoshoot. Great value for money and would definitely do it again if I visit Paris again. Shout out to our Filipino photographer sir Joey T. He did not only made our photo magical, he taught us the right choreography on our poses. He will guide you in every pose. I am a creative and expert in photography but being the subject is different. Highly recommended to this when in Paris. Look for Joey to be assigned to you

What to know before visiting Paris

What to do in Paris throughout the year

Paris’s top activities are led by Museums, followed by Cruises, Tours, Observation decks and Historical sites, and the city’s rhythm changes with the calendar. Klook booking data shows demand climbs into summer, peaking in July, when outdoor observation decks and river cruises draw big crowds; quieter months such as March see fewer bookings. For visitors from the Philippines deciding when to go, weigh crowds against atmosphere — pick lively July for full summer energy or quieter March for fewer visitors. All figures here are based on Klook booking data.

When to visit and how prices behave

Demand on Klook peaks in July while March is the quietest month, and prices move differently across the year: median paid prices drift down from a January high into June, with the lowest typical price in June. That means smaller crowds and lower typical prices often align in June, while July offers peak demand even though prices are higher than in late spring. For lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for June or March; for peak-season atmosphere, plan for July.

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay: district price comparison

Klook booking data shows a clear spread in typical nightly hotel prices across Paris districts. The most affordable area on average is 18th Arrondissement, typically around PHP 6,660, while the priciest is 1st Arrondissement, typically around PHP 24,262 — roughly 73% higher at the top end. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritising budget and a more local, value-focused stay, while pricier districts suit those after central luxury, classic hotel experiences or a premium neighbourhood feel. These figures are based on Klook booking data.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most travellers from the Philippines lock experiences in about 5 days ahead, while the earliest planners book roughly 23 days out, according to Klook booking data. That makes Philippines travellers moderately planned: you can often book a few days before travel, but during the July peak it pays to secure popular museum or cruise time slots earlier. Klook listings show last-minute options exist as close as 1 day before. Book on Klook to compare typical prices and secure timed entries or cruise slots in advance — it keeps options open while letting you act fast when needed.
