    Gone are the days when museums just had a formal and serious vibe. Nowadays, museums have become dynamic and modern houses of learning. Most of them are interactive with fun exhibitions that will make learning more memorable. Today, museums have become recreational places where you can spend quality time with family, friends, and your someone special. Hence, if your loved-ones are game for some educational field trip and intellectual discussion, here are eight interactive museums in Metro Manila. 

    1. Mind Museum 

    Mind Museum often comes on top of mind when talking about interactive local museums. It has something to offer for people of all ages. It features exhibits such as the Atom Gallery, Life Gallery, Earth Gallery, Universe Gallery, and the Technology Gallery. Likewise, children will surely have fun engaging in scientific experiments. For kids who are two to six years old, they can interact and learn about the wonders of the world at the Playtales section.

    Have fun doing creative poses as you take wacky photos at what is described to be the biggest 3D interactive art museum in Asia. Art in Island allows you to become part of the art! Perfect for the young and young-at-heart, get your family and friends to take funny group shots with you as you walk through unbelievably creative artworks.

    4. Museo El Deposito

    5. Ayala Museum 

    Be fascinated by the timeless beauty of Philippines treasures at the Ayala Museum. This interactive local museum houses artifacts that made a mark on Philippine market and trade such as ceramics, pottery, and indigenous textiles. They also have an onsite digital gallery of the museum's collections, dioramas, and a display of pre-colonial golds, among others.

    6. Museum of Contemporary Art and Design

    Learn as you walk through interesting arts and crafts in this modern art museum at the College of Saint Benilde's School of Design and Art department.     Admire contemporary masterpieces at the Yuchengco Museum in Makati. Aside from the art collections of Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco, to whom the museum was made after, there are also different featured exhibits from various artists. Likewise, videos, films and animations can be seen at this interactive museum where you can attend and host gatherings, and interact with others.
