the tour is super worth it, though there is a little time to explore the shirakawa-go since this is just a day tour. but thank you for this!

unfortunately l, this was a holiday week end so every sight was overcrowded and we had to endure heavy traffic. I believe the itinerary should have started with the end point: shirakawago because we got there at 4.30 pm due to heavy traffic and we only got a few minutes of daylight. I regret not taking a cheaper tour that focused on only 2 sights. takamaya was also too crowded and thank goodness we decided to go visit the temples by chance because they were empty. the guide didn't have good recommendations but was a sweet lady who just gave us time instructions.

The tour is exactly the same as what is written in the details. Guide very friendly and helpful. If you want to explore more of the cities I suggest taking personal transfer to the province because the tour is time restricted.

The girl tour guide is very accommodating. Although the tour is very compressed. We didn’t went to the view deck in shirakawa because our time is limited. We had lunch at Takayama at our own expense, tried hida beef, and eat more. The tour in Gujo Hachiman is not recommended. It is only okay for person who wants to hike going to the castle. Shirakawa go is a cute place but going there in group tour is not recommended because you will only stay there for 1-2hours including during parking of the bus service. Overall it’s a quick and hassle free tour.

Quite satisfied with this tour even though it is a bit more expensive with the same tour route and the same facilities. The trip went smoothly and very effectively

The price-performance ratio is very good. It takes a long way from Nagoya to reach the above three attractions. The tour guide knows Japanese, English and Mandarin, and there is no language barrier throughout the trip. If you don't join this local one-day tour, you won't have the opportunity to go to Gujo Hachiman Castle.

Overall, highly recommend the experience. The meet-up point was easy to find and we went to all the locations listed. The guide wasn't that fluent in English but tried his best and went above and beyond helping guests take photos and looking for them when they were late in returning back to the bus. At the first location in Hachiman, guests are given the choice between sticking with the group and looking at the different bridges in the city on a walking tour with the guide or going on their own to the castle. I regret not going to the castle. The walk was fine but it felt less rewarding as some time was spent waiting for others in the group to take photos. The drive to each location was okay and the bus was comfortable. One thing that would be very helpful to do is researching ahead for the different locations so you can get the most out of your experience as the guide doesn't give much direction on where to go or what to eat. Personally really enjoyed it and thought it was very worth the price paid.

The travel time arranged in the itinerary is very appropriate. The commentary service is in Chinese, English and Japanese. The tour guide performed very well. I will participate in the activity again next time

Shirakawago deserves to be a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's one of a kind. The ride on the way there was so scenic. The Gujo Hachiman town was also nice. Their canals with fishes is amazing. Takayama with the old houses and shops transport you to the old Japan.

The tour went well and as planned. This gave the best option to access the places in a manner that is less hassle. Kiki, our tourguide, was nice also. wish the bus has wifi thought. but everything else went absolutely fine. 😊
