Nagoya Hida Takayama Old Town & Gassho-style Village Shirakawa-go (Including lunch "Kobe Beef Shabu-Shabu")

Our guide, Xiao Yu, was incredibly thorough, explaining each attraction in detail before we arrived. She also recommended shops, which made us feel very confident that we wouldn't miss anything. She even provided a gourmet food guide for Nagoya at the end. The included lunch was an excellent choice; the wagyu hot pot was delicious, and we could get refills of rice and soup. We realized upon reaching the attractions that finding a restaurant easily isn't always possible, so having lunch included was definitely the right decision.

The day trip is very convenient, and you can bring a stroller. The itinerary is a bit rushed, so we recommend choosing a tour that includes lunch to allow more time for sightseeing.

The day trip with lunch included is super convenient! Many day trips require you to find your own lunch, which often means waiting in long lines to buy food or having your sightseeing time cut short. This tour includes lunch, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the local Hida cuisine without sacrificing sightseeing time. I recommend this tour to anyone who doesn't want to waste time searching for lunch!

this is mostly a self guided tour. your guide on the bus will give you a little information before arriving at an area but then you're on your own. would have been nice to have a little more information on Shirakawa-go regarding how the houses are built or the lifestyle of the person's living there.

Thank you tour guide Helen Wang for making our trip possible. we arrived at the meeting at 730am. attendance taking at 750am but our names were not found in all 3 buses. we saw the effort Helen spent to allow us to join her tour. she is bilingual in Mandarin and English. Due to the long distance driving, the land tour itself can be quite rush but still its nice for sneak preview of Takayama and Shirakawago. Once again, Thank you Helen for "adopting" us, was nice meeting you

We had a wonderful experience on the Nagoya–Shirakawa-go & Hida Takayama full-day guided tour. Everything was well organized, the guide was friendly and informative, and the pace was just right. Shirakawa-go was absolutely stunning, and strolling around Hida Takayama was a highlight. A memorable and stress-free day.

Tour guide, Xiao Liu, was very dedicated and provided explanations in three languages: Chinese, English, and Japanese. The tour departed at 8 AM and returned to the Nagoya Station meeting point at 6 PM, right on schedule! There were rest stops along the way, and I felt the itinerary was smooth and not rushed.

Even though the schedule was tight and we only hit the highlights, the transportation was convenient.
