Fushimi Inari Kimono Rental Experience (Kyoto/Provided by Rental Kimono First)

There are a variety of kimonos to choose from. Many beautiful outfits, cute shop, not very expensive. Wear them to take photos at Fushimi Inari shrine and look very beautiful and eye-catching. You can also use klook's various codes to reduce the price even more. Very good value.

We got lost and showed up 20mins late but the staff was very understanding and were still able to take our reservations. We rented the 2 Furisodes which is a more formal kimono with longer sleeves for about $107usd. There is a private room where you get fitted. Im just amazed about the craft that was put in to setting up the kimonos. So many layers! The selections for furisodes were limited but the ones we chose came out so Gorgeous. You are able to rent till the end of business hrs which is 6pm. We only lasted 2 hrs in them because it was 80degrees outside. Lol. The location is literally a 2 minute walk from the Fushimi Shrine. The slippers are limited in sizes and I wear a 6.5 it was a tight fit so I could imagine how hard it would be for anyone else who is bigger in size. You get one free basic hairstyle with unlimited accessories and one handbag. The obi (belt) on my daughter was done so beautifully giving it dimension and contrast however my obi looked a bit boxy and plain on me, but overall we enjoyed the experience and got to immerse ourselves in the culture. Highly recommended!

This place was great! The ladies were helpful, we went earlier and they spent an hour on four of us getting us ready making sure every detail was perfect. The only challenge was that there weren’t very many options for plus size. So, if you’re 14+ it will be very limited (18+ will not fit). location: great experience: great

Professional and friendly service. For more luxurious kimono's, more elaborate hairstyle and an umbrella I paid 7.000 yen extra. The umbrella is a very nice touch to your photos (I used it to block people in the background of my photos as well)

One of the most memorable experiences of my Kyoto trip. This store is managed by 2 ladies who are very nice and friendly. There is a good range of products to choose from. They helped me select the right colour combination for the jacket, belt and kimono. As it was snowing on the day I went, they even gave an additional pair of socks as a gift. The elderly woman was very skilled in draping the kimono and had a warm smile throughout. PS: There is a refundable deposit of 10,000 yen for 2 people but if you leave your belongings at the store, this is waived off.

I actually booked their Fushimi Inari branch but sadly it was suddenly changed to due unforeseen circumstances. They gave me an offer and was very accomodate with sudden change of booking time I requested. They apologize to me so many times It was not their fault and it was totally understandble. I love their collections and variety in color and designs of the kimono. The staff was helpful to help you choose your obi, other accessories to make you look beautiful in your kimono. They were really attentive and friendly as well. Reasonable prices as well!

It's good, but it wasn't open when I arrived. I made a reservation at 1 o'clock, and someone really opened the door at 12:45. It's not open for a long time. Everything else is very good. It's nice to add money to set the head!

this was the best location to rent a kimono from if you want a photoshoot by fushimi inari temples. the derive was fast and the workers were very friendly and understood English pretty well. a lot of prints to choose from.

The service was great, and the place was very clean. While the staff spoke little English, communication was still smooth. The kimono selection for my chosen package was somewhat limited, but there was always the option to upgrade. The hairstyling was nicely done, and the shop’s location near Fushimi Inari made it incredibly convenient.
