At an altitude of 2,305 meters, you can admire the mountain’s lines and grandeur from a closer distance. On clear days, you have a wide view, with Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding mountains in full view. When clouds rise, a sea of clouds surges beneath your feet, and Mount Fuji appears and disappears, with a touch of mystery 🗻. This is the station where you can best feel “being in Mount Fuji.”
- (Different attractions are visited depending on the season.) From December 1st to April 25th of the following year, the tour will instead go to Arakurayama Sengen Park. After climbing 397 steps, Mount Fuji and the cityscape of Fujiyoshida spread out at the same time, making it a highly representative classic photography angle 📷. Whether it’s the cherry blossom season, the autumn foliage season, or the winter snow scene, it presents a distinctly layered Japanese landscape, which is why it has become a popular spot for world-class photographers.

This tour did not disappoint my sakura panoramic dream in Chureito Pagoda. the captivating view of fujisan with sakura in the background 🫶but due to time constraints wasn’t able to capture the picture perfect Chureito Pagoda Scenery. I wish we could spend more time in the Arakurayama Sengen Park rather than in Hoshino Hakkai. But our translator Kousan was so helpful and ready to assist. appreciate this tour so much especially the token given to us at the end our tour✨
We really enjoyed this trip as a small group. It’s very comfortable and everything is definitely on time. Definitely hassle free (picked up and dropped off at the hotel). Tours are a bit short as you have little time to explore each place. I just felt like everything has to be done in a hurry. Will definitely try this again with my husband when we get back (travelled with just me and two of my kids).

Guide Mizki is a very good guide who explains things very well. He explained things kindly and spoke accurately, making it easy to listen to. Our Mt. Fuji experience was absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect — nakisama talaga ang panahon! We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji clearly, its peak beautifully covered with snow. The scenery was breathtaking, with trees in stunning autumn colors of red, orange, yellow, and green. Our tour guide Leo was exceptional — very organized, informative, and accommodating. He guided us to the best photo spots at the 5th Station, arranged our lunch in advance, and even helped those who wanted to try the onsen near Gotemba while others enjoyed shopping in the outlets. We also loved visiting Oshino Village, where we saw the UNESCO World Heritage ponds, traditional houses. We also tasted delicious local treats like mochi, ice cream, and Japanese wagyu. This is a must-have experience when in Tokyo, especially if Mount Fuji is not shy, and you will be able to see it live in action. Our tour guide, Zack, is also very informative, and he tries to keep the trip as fun as possible. Unfortunately, some guests on the trip were not super cooperative, which delayed some of our itinerary. Overall, this experience is still good.

- Visibility of Mount Fuji is highly affected by weather, and is lower in summer. It is recommended to check weather and visibility information before booking.
- Starting from April 2026: Konohana Onsen allows guests with tattoos; however, alternative onsens visited during closure periods still do not accept guests with tattoos. Japanese onsens require nude bathing. Please be aware.
- Outlet closure day: Once a year, on the third Thursday of February. On this regular closing day, the itinerary will be a choice between sightseeing at Lake Yamanaka or visiting Lake Yamanaka Onsen.
