2026 Penghu Fireworks Festival: Ocean Paradise - Xiyou Sea Ranch & Night Squid Fishing & Fireworks at Sea

The captain's chosen spot that day offered a perfect view of the entire drone show. We ate a lot of fresh oysters at the marine ranch, but no one caught any squid. The fishing bait was too large, it felt like we were just feeding the fish and couldn't catch anything.

Watching the fireworks from the sea was incredibly stunning; it felt like I could almost touch them. The small tube noodles were fresh and delicious, my child ate two bowls, and we'd love to come back again.

Although this year's drone show was a bit of a letdown and we didn't catch any squid on the boat, the overall experience was good. The environment was clean, and the staff were friendly. However, seeing leftover rice noodles dumped into the sea and cigarette butts thrown overboard, I hope there can be better ways to handle these issues.

Overall, the activity offered good value for money, and the itinerary was decent. At the Sea Palace, you could eat as many oysters as you wanted (though their sizes varied greatly). The firework cruise boat was quite crowded that day, and unfortunately, the front row was completely taken up by people, and the boat's roof also obstructed the view of the fireworks. I felt that watching the fireworks from the shore for free would have been a better experience.

The captain drove very smoothly, and the experience of watching fireworks at sea was truly special. The squid noodle soup tasted decent, but I'm not sure if vinegar was added, as it had a sour tang!

The captain and tour guide were excellent, and the play area for children on the boat was great. The food was just average, but the overall service was very good. I recommend choosing only the fireworks tour.

The sunset was beautiful, and watching the fireworks from the boat was quite nice. However, the Sea Palace where we had dinner was really hot. Grilling oysters with everyone felt stifling, almost suffocating! Overall, it was mostly okay, but the food prices were a bit on the expensive side. Two people ordered a mixed fried platter, cabbage, and two drinks, and it cost us about 500-600.

I originally thought that the ship was too big to get closer to see the fireworks, but during the shooting process, I found that this distance was just right. Of course, the larger the ship, the longer it takes to return to the dock. But it was all worth it to be able to take beautiful photos of the fireworks.

I think it's great, especially when watching the fireworks on the boat, the captain will find a very good point... touching. The only downside is that I can’t catch small fish…
