Reviews
We had a very enjoyable excursion to Nikko from Tokyo with Ko and Chen. Chen was a safe, conscientious driver on the curvy mountain roads which I appreciated as a passenger. Ko was both efficient and accommodating while being an informative guide. We would recommend this outing highly as it is a great day trip from Tokyo to see some of the most beautiful landscapes and landmark architecture.
Woke up early to check-in for the group tour to Nikko. The meet up location was a bit confusing because several other tours picked the same meet up spot. Our group departed slightly behind schedule, but still had enough time to visit Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Watefall, and Lake Chuzenji. I would skip purchasing the lunch package. Yuba (tofu skin) is sold around Nikko. The meal was unique but not something I’d prefer. The souvenir store was extensive, but they upcharge. Save your souvenir shopping when you have time to explore Kegon Waterfalls and Lake Chuzenji. I wish we spent more time at Kegon Waterfalls. The tour spent too much time at the Toshogu Shrine, but we were lucky to see the horse in the morning. Our tour guide spoke English, Mandarin, and Japanese, which is good. I had trouble understanding part of the tour, but overall, it’s good. Majority of our group got the lunch package which comes with tickets to the Shrine, but the Kegon Waterfall is purchased separately for ¥600.
the tour was fine, the waterfall still dry from the winter, a lot of dry trees, might be better on other season

very nice experience. tho not that much scenery but still good
The bus had nice big windows to see the landscape views. Throughout the tour the tour guides, Jeffery and Ashley, were very attentive. Ashley was able to explain the sites in 3 languages and recommended a great restaurant for lunch. Even though we got lost and delayed our departure time, the tour guides were able to reach us and redirect us to the bus in a timely manner. Shoutout to the bus driver for the smooth ride down the curvy mountain roads 👍
Lovely experience with our tour guide Ko! He was very patient and provided clear explanations. We were very lucky to play with snow on the ground at the top of Iroha pass!
Nice shrine, special vegetarian lunch. The tour guide, Mr Carter Sasaki was energetic and tried his best to explain and entertain us. The return travelling time was long, about 3 hours.
One of the best side tour from Tokyo! You get to see a lot of attractions from the Nikko Toshugu shrine and some other popular attractions of Tochigi prefecture.
The trip was fantastic!!! If you go during winter, please dress very warm because the temperature today (12/12) was -3 deg Celsius during 3 pm in the afternoon. All the attractions are picturesque and steeped in history. Our guide Carter Sasaki was knowledgeable and energetic. :) Highly recommended!!!
