It's a neat relatively small museum. Well worth a visit if you're into manga and its history. You can't take pictures of the main exhibit but you can take pictures in some of the rooms. Visitors are encouraged to take manga books from the shelves and read there. They are in Japanese though, with some exceptions from the Expo, so if you're not a Japanese language reader, your options are limited

The museum was filled with manga from various eras. All in japanese. The show is for children. The manga display was interesting. There is alot of reading in english. 2 hours for the visit if you read all the english. Very close to train station Karakuma Oike Station best to use exit 2. Time spent 1.5 hours. I think you need to be an avid manga fan to visit.

You actually aren't allowed to take photos inside so you'll have to excuse my photos. An absolutely beautiful old school renovated into this manga museum. Highly recommend for all anime fans.

The museum is very nice. Has a lot of originals mangas in lots of languages. If you arrive early, you can schedule a portrait with an manga artist. Is very beautiful.

It is definitely recommended to spend a whole afternoon here in the hot summer. Adults and children can find the comics they want to read and have some leisure time. The lockers are refundable for 100 yuan and are very convenient. We also encountered a VR game trial that should be the work of students. But the children are very curious. Unfortunately, the system for searching comics cannot be searched in Chinese, but I think it is very interesting to see a group of people reading comics everywhere, especially since this is the site of a historic primary school. I think it is very cute when I see the old photos! There is also the maze rice exhibition, highly recommended!
