Sapporo Bibai Snow Land and Otaru Full-Day Guided Tour

Had an amazing Otaru & Snow Park day tour from Sapporo on March 9, 2026! our AWESOME Tour guide Andy, was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Smooth transport, great itinerary, and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend!

It was a very organized trip, our guide/driver is very kind and helpful, He is knowledgeable in every places that we visit. He looks after us in every place. I enjoyed this trip, I will definitely book here again if I have the chance,

The trip departed on time. Tour guide Oscar can speak well in different languages and explains everything to all participants. I had fun during thr Bibai Snowland tour, 1.5H is enough to enjoy the area. We also had enough time to have lunch and stroll around Otaru. Due to traffic, we only have 15 mins to take pictures in Shiroi Koibita Park. It was okay as initially it was cancelled but last minute decision was made by driver to continue with the last destination with tight schedule.

Departure time 8:00 AM. We arrived at the hotel building early at 7:40 AM. It seemed the tour guide was already there. There were several people holding flags in the lobby, just ask them directly. They will guide you to the correct tour group 👌🏻. The first stop is Bibai Land. The tour guide will offer amusement park rides at a discounted price. It's not mandatory to buy them, you can choose not to, and just play soccer or ride a bicycle, etc. I chose a snowmobile for two people for ¥15,000. The seat is not big❗️ It's windy there, and the wind is even stronger when riding the snowmobile. You must wear warm clothes, especially gloves, for grabbing snow when taking pictures. Sunglasses 🕶️ are also best to wear‼️ As for the journey to Otaru, the weather was bad, and the highway was rerouted, causing a slight delay. I chose the shopping street. The restaurants available weren't concentrated, and the two restaurants I ate at weren't very delicious. I just wanted to fill my stomach 😌. There was plenty of time at each attraction, except for the last one, Shiroi Koibito Park, where we only had half an hour to go to the restroom, take pictures, buy souvenirs, and buy ice cream... The tour guide said we could leave the tour and explore at our own pace, but we would need to take the train back ourselves❗️ The whole day experience was smooth overall. The tour guide, Shao, provided indirect introductions in both Chinese and English, and was quite humorous 😃. The driver was also very polite and drove safely 👍🏻. As for me, I didn't eat or drink on the bus. If you need to, you should probably eat beforehand or ask the tour guide at the meeting point. As for smokers, there are smoking areas at the entrance of Bibai and Shiroi Koibito. I didn't see any in Otaru, you'll need to look for them 😌.

We had a great time at Bibai Snowland. Kids and Kids at heart would definitely enjoy this activity. Highly recommended for everyone. Since Otaru is a well known tourist destination, 3 hours is not enough due to long queues in every shops. But still we had fun.

We enjoyed this trip. Viviv was our tour guide and she provided clear instructions and what to expect in each place. It was winter so even the little details regarding the place helped. We went to Bibai snowland first where we enjoyed different activities like the mini snow mobile, buggy, and snow rafting - but note that you have to pay it in Bibai and its not included in the package. Next we went to Otaru, and I enjoyed the Otaru canal scenery, boat, food and the place itself. Note that we went there during winter so the road was slippery so extra cautious while roaming around Otaru. The restaurant in the nearby area was crowded so good thing we stumbled upon the Naruto Chicken restaurant. We just asked the lady in the wet market if there’s a nearby restaurant that less crowded. We took taxi around the area to maximize our time before we get back to the parking area where the bus parked. Last stop was the Shiroi, the place was Christmasy but between the snow activities in Bibai and walk around Otaru shopping street, we were already tired. I enjoyed the overall day tour.

It was a Tuesday so Bibai was closed. We went to snowland and nonetheless still enjoyed the activities there. I rented a banana boat and the staff was kind enough to stop at areas where I can take good pictures.

the coldest that we had at the Bibai Snow Park, and the prettiest at the Shiroi Korbito Park, we loved the shopping part whereby we saw (and bought) lots of chocolates and cakes from the factory itself😉

Technically, this is the first snow fall experience for us, and we were lucky as we arrived in Bibai Snow Park, the snow fell... and it felt good. we literally danced while the snow was falling. Otaru Canal was one item in my bucket list and so I was happy to have seen this is person and with snow. Shiroi Koibito Park needed to have more time to experience it better. We were only enjoying what's outside the building and not the experience we were expecting since we're always keeping an eye to the time. overall, this is a good experience. RECOMMENDED!

There wasnt enough time to complete all the rides at Bibai snowland. Abit too rush. Otaru was great and Shiroi Koibito Park should be given more time for photo taking as there were too many tourists around. However, i will still recommend this tour! I still had a great time!!
