Reviews
we opted for a tour as it is troublesome to make our own way to konigsee lake (it would take arnd 3hrs with 3 train + bus transfers). view was great but do note that u may not have much time at the lake with this tour - we only had 1 hr, which is understandable given the long drive from Munich city. if u wish to spend more time at the lake, then u need to go yourself. the tour of the salt mine was unexpectedly interesting 👍🏻
The salt mine is amazing destination even it's not allowed to take photo. Konigssee is nice lake and town. Johnny is professional guide, provides more information and managed time. Driver is good too.
In a compact itinerary, thanks to tour guide Barbara's reminder of time and driver Michael's smooth driving, we went to the salt mines and King's Lake smoothly. Although the whole trip was not cheap or free, it was indeed suitable for travelers with limited time. Quite convenient. Finally, the tour guide talked about the impact on the tourism industry after the epidemic and the slow recovery process. He hoped that everyone would support European tourism!
Tour guide insisted to collect 44 EUR instead of 29 EUR as mentioned in Klook voucher for entry to salt mine. Consult to Klook for instruction and they need 48 hours to revert. I have no choice but to pay 44 EUR while waiting for Klook reply. I wonder Klook would refund the difference. Experience in the salt mine was good. Talking a train into the mine, 2 slides to lower level and boat ride across the salt lake was rememberable experience. King lake was not so much fun as it was raining whole day.
Meeting place: South of the fountain at Karlsplatz, on the northbound street, in front of the drug store Obletter. The tour order was 11:00: Salt mine 13:30: Königssee (King's Lake). The additional cost of 45 euros was paid by card. Overall, the tour was satisfactory, with good weather. The salt mine was unexpectedly fun.
Lovely and beautiful place to visit. Definitely recommend this to everyone!

Stephanie was super informative and definitely a sweet heart to the guests, Max was a very professional driver, he make sure we feel comfy along the whole trip. I was absolutely satisfied by the service and would very much love to visit Munich and may be fortunate enough to see them both in future.
