Reviews summaryour driver was called something like Dragon and our touguide is a lady with beautiful blue eyes and grey hair and clear voice. I forgot her name unfortunately but she is so helpful and professional which makes the whole trip experience impeccable. I hope she can be my tour guide again! It is a worthy tour, I wish I had more time. If you love sightseeing and museums, you might want to skip lunch and tour around instead.
Great tour by our tour guide Melanie, very detailed explanation to all places. Sandro our driver make sure all of us are taken care of in the bus ride. The view for the this town is so beautiful. I would say I don’t have enough time to explore the whole town. I had my meal in “coast collection” is so delicious.
Our guide Malina is amazing, managing perfectly with a large group of 75 ppl, very clear on whereto go when to meet up with detail history sharing about the locations. The weather was strange with sunny windy and rainy at the zame time, so it was cold, but it's still nice to ealk through the little town and have a meal there. It is worth to pay 10eur for guided tour in Harburg, it shows places which only group tour can see.
This trip let us experiencing Germany's medieval charm and picturesque of the well-preserved Harburg Castle and the fairytale-like atmosphere of Rothenburg. Thanks to our good knowledgeable guide, Mr Sven, comfortable transportation driven by Mr Santos, and their well-planned itineraries.
Königssee Tour – A Must-Join Experience! The view is absolutely breathtaking! A big thank you to our tour guide, Wang Hai Li, who took great care of everyone in the group and ensured we had the best vantage points. She shared many interesting stories, useful tips, and local recommendations throughout the journey. She also helped us take beautiful photos. Her service was truly excellent—by far the best guide among the three tours I’ve joined! Rothenburg Tour – The tour group was a little big, so it was sometimes hard to hear what our guide was saying. However, it's still a great option if you want to visit Hamburg Castle and Rothenburg. We were given sufficient free time to explore, and the castle guide was excellent at sharing fascinating stories about the history and architecture.
What a lovely town and castle to visit! straight out of a fairytale story. Beatrice was a wonderful guide, very helpful and informative. We had enough time to explore both Harburg castle and Rothenburg. Would love to go back again.
Hamburg Castle and Rothenburg are beautiful especially for people who loves everything medieval. Paid additional 10 Euros to the guide (by card on the bus) for a valuable 30-40mins guided tour conducted by Hamburg Castle. We were given 3 hours of free and easy time to explore Rothenburg. Visited the Christmas Museum, took a short walk on the defence wall, ate creamy vanilla ice cream despite the 2 degrees weather, and drank mulled wine and eaten bratwurst in the Christmas Market. It takes 1.5 hours ride from Munich to Hamburg Castle, another 1.5 hours from Hamburg Castle to Rothenburg and 3 hours from Rothenburg back to Munich.
Guide Hanae provided a lot of information regarding Munich and the region that we passed by during the trip. Harburg Castle is a well-preserved medieval castle. Despite the foggy weather during the day of the tour, Rothenburg shophouses are lovely and fairytale-like. The viewpoint near the Castle Garden offers great overview of the surrounding scenery. We had 3 hours there which was sufficient for lunch, walk around the town leisurely and enjoy a schneeballen. Everyone on the tour was cooperative and we returned to Munich at 7pm as scheduled.
The tour guide is very nice and knowledgeable about Munich and able to some good suggestions! Harburg Castle is wonderful and well preserved. Everywhere in Rotherburg and photogenic too! Do check out German Christmas Museum. You will not get bored!
I think this itinerary is very good value for money. It would be troublesome to take the bus by yourself, and Harburg does not seem to accept private reservations, because it will arrange for tour guides in Harburg to guide the group. The story introduced in the ancient city of Harburg is very interesting. The Rothenburg part is a colorful and beautiful town. It took about 3 hours for us to walk around and have lunch in Rothenburg. In fact, the time spent in Rothenburg during the itinerary felt a bit insufficient. Luo Castle is very beautiful and there are many places where you can take beautiful photos. This kind of chartered itinerary is very convenient. You don’t need to worry about traffic. You just need to show up at the meeting point on time in the morning. The meeting point in Munich is easy to find. The entire row of the meeting point is full of tour buses. Just find the board with your itinerary written on it. Cars can be found.
