• In the morning, head to Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon. Hike from the bottom of the valley, traversing between red rock walls formed hundreds of millions of years ago, and experience climbing the nearly vertical “Yixiantian” (A Line of Sky) ladder.
• In the afternoon, head to Zhangye Colorful Danxia: famous for its rare colorful hills, it was rated as one of “China’s Seven Most Beautiful Danxia” by “Chinese National Geography” and is the world’s only composite area of Danxia landforms and colorful hills. Take a sightseeing bus to the observation deck to admire the colorful mountains from different angles and in different light.
