Kamakura One-Day In-depth Tour departing from Tokyo/Shinjuku Explore the classic one-day tour of Kamakura and Enoshima, taking you through the history and natural beauty of Japan’s ancient capital. The first stop is the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a bronze seated Buddha within Kotoku-in Temple, a symbol of Kamakura and designated a National Treasure of Japan. Its solemn form and long history are awe-inspiring. Afterwards, experience the Enoden railway, where you can enjoy the beautiful Shonan coast scenery along the line from Hase to Enoshima, while also experiencing the Kamakura streetscapes from classic movies and anime. Along the way, stop at the Enoden Kamakura Koko-mae Station railroad crossing, a filming location for “Slam Dunk,” to relive youthful memories and classic scenes. Note: ① As these are general traffic roads, please pay attention to personal safety and do not obstruct traffic. ② Please do not enter the railway tracks or railroad crossing area.

Upon arrival at Enoshima, you can visit Enoshima Shrine and surrounding attractions, experiencing the island's legends and cultural charm, while also enjoying the captivating sea views. The itinerary also includes Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, a samurai guardian shrine from the Kamakura Shogunate period, which not only has a long history but also boasts a rich variety of flowers and plants, making it a popular spot for cherry blossom and autumn foliage viewing. Stroll along Komachi-dori, savoring Kamakura's local specialties, handicrafts, and cuisine, and experiencing the lively atmosphere of the old street.

The return journey passes through central Tokyo, with direct access to Tokyo Station or Shinjuku, concluding a rich and exciting cultural and natural exploration of Kamakura and Enoshima. The itinerary combines history, humanities, nature, and anime culture, ensuring every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories.

Review for: Kamakura & Enoshima One-Day Trip

The Great Buddha is majestic and awe-inspiring, the environment is serene, and it's rich in history. The Enoden train ride along the coast offers stunning scenery, and the retro train cars create a wonderful atmosphere. The price is very reasonable! You don't have to worry about changing trains yourself; it takes you directly to the sights, which is perfect for those who prefer not to plan their trips. It covers two must-see highlights in Kamakura, and the experience is excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Review for: Kamakura & Enoshima One-Day Trip

There was too much walking, which was tiring. We skipped the high school course because we couldn't take pictures anyway, so we didn't go. Then why was it included in the itinerary? Was it simply because of the rain? Enoshima was also only a partial viewing. I understood that if you were late, they would just leave, treating it as a no-show, but they waited for everyone and departed late. They said there wasn't enough time and cut down on sightseeing, so what about those who arrived early on time? Only the guides were kind and good. Unlike Osaka or Fukuoka, where it's mostly Korean groups, there were people from various countries, which also caused some inconvenience, making me feel that the guide's explanations were inevitably incomplete. Although the weather was bad, I was disappointed in several ways. I don't recommend it!
