The day's journey was packed, fulfilling, and wonderfully diverse. From the ancient temples, sea breezes, and vibrant street life of Kamakura to the harbor night views and urban splendor of Yokohama, the dual-city scenery, spanning ancient and modern, was captivating. Yet, the most moving aspect of this trip wasn't just the magnificent landscapes, but also Jack's genuine companionship and professional insights. He was intimately familiar with the historical background and cultural stories of each attraction. His eloquent explanations brought warmth to the scenery and depth to the journey. He was gentle, patient, and meticulous, ensuring every traveler had a great experience. He promptly planned the best routes, avoiding minor inconveniences, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the trip. What would have been an ordinary day trip became rich, fulfilling, and extraordinary thanks to his dedicated efforts. As dusk deepened, the journey concluded. Looking back at our day's exploration, the ancient charm of Kamakura and the dazzling harbor of Yokohama were vivid in our memories. We sincerely thank our guide, Jack, for his constant companionship and passionate sharing. This healing and unforgettable Kamakura-Yokohama day trip not only allowed me to encounter the romance of mountains, sea, and city, but also provided a wealth of knowledge and warmth. All the beauty and emotion will forever be cherished in my heart.
Did a day trip to Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama from Tokyo — and wow, what a long but super fun day! 🤍 Started the trip around 11AM and got back by 9PM. It was tiring with all the train rides and endless walking, but every stop had a different vibe. Kamakura felt peaceful and cultural, Enoshima was relaxing with beautiful ocean views, and Yokohama gave such a nice city atmosphere to end the day. Long day? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
We took this trip on March 12th with Yong as our guide. He was excellent at explaining everything in both English and Mandarin. However, we felt the pace was a bit too fast. Yong provided only minimal information at each stop before we had to rush to the next destination. While the day trip was fine overall, we would have appreciated clearer directions and more in depth information.
I joined the Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama tour and it was a wonderful experience. Since the tour starts later in the morning, I was able to see Yokohama beautifully lit up at night, which was a highlight. Our guide Lee was amazing, very helpful, friendly, and supportive throughout the day, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveler. During the free time in Yokohama, I explored Chinatown, which was gorgeous and full of delicious food to try. One thing to note is that the train can get very crowded, which is completely outside the tour company’s control, but it is good for other travelers to be prepared. Time management is also important because there are several stops, so plan ahead and prioritize what you want to see. Overall, I definitely recommend this tour. Big thanks to tour guide Lee for making the day enjoyable and for being my hero and helping me.
Especially like the itinerary which is at Kamakura to Enoden! Thank you to the tour guide for helping to translate to English, even though most of us are able to understand Mandarin 🙏🏼 Yokohama's city spot in the itinerary can be better, but overall, the tour is great!
The entire itinerary was a bit rushed, with a lot of walking. Taking the train really wasn't necessary; it was extremely crowded. However, the itinerary itself was excellent and very rich, including historical sites and temples, shopping streets, ocean views, and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and cable car night view at the end were truly a perfect conclusion. I highly recommend considering adding them to your itinerary. The tour guide was very kind, professional, and responsible. Highly recommended!
overall was a good trip however, the time in Enoshima and Kamakura was too rush - we were not briefed about the faster way to go to the Sea candle (could have saved the time for lunch) and we could have explored Kamakura more if we were not told to take the train to kamakura - I think it wasnt necessary since itinerary was already too packed. But, these 3 places were great experiences especially Yokohama 🥰
it was an incredible trip. our tour guide "Yaya" was so knowledgeable and really good explaining about everything. It was really nice to learn and it didn't feel like we need to be running on each stop. Totally recommended.
The day trip itinerary to Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama Port was very well-planned. The distances between locations weren't too far, and the 11:00 AM meeting time was relaxed, so we didn't have to wake up early. Returning to Shinjuku at 8:40 PM wasn't too late either. Our tour guide, Jimmy Hou, provided bilingual commentary in both Chinese and English, and his service was quite good.
An amazing trip, made even better by the professional service of tour guide Alex Shen Yu. Purchasing a KLOOK tour, I didn't receive an email from the tour guide the day before the activity informing me of contact information, meeting time, and location. During the trip, the tour guide carefully introduced the features of each location, and also assisted travelers when appropriate, making today's trip even better.
