【Eizan Electric Railway 1-Day Pass “Ee Kippu”】 The “Ee Kippu” is a one-day unlimited ride pass for the Eizan Electric Railway. Starting from Demachiyanagi Station, which is close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Shimogamo Shrine, the northbound railway line offers access to historical temples and shrines such as Kifune Shrine and Kurama-dera Temple. Along the route, you can enjoy the beauty of all four seasons, including fresh greenery in spring, riverside dining in summer, autumn foliage, and snowy scenery in winter. For the area toward Kibuneguchi Station and Kurama Station, the scenic panoramic train “Kirara” operates, allowing you to fully enjoy the changing scenery along the route. For the area toward Yase Hieizanguchi Station, the sightseeing train “Hiei” operates, and this ticket can also be used on that train.

Upon arrival, you are welcomed by a quiet atmosphere and pure, refreshing air that feels like a different world. The hot spring water is a sulfur spring that gently envelops the skin and is known as a “beautifying hot spring.” From the open-air bath, you can take in sweeping views of the Kurama mountain range, with different scenery each season, including fresh greenery in spring, lush summer foliage, autumn leaves, and snowy winter landscapes. Inside the facility, there is a spacious indoor bath, sauna, and cold bath. Bathing while surrounded by abundant nature soothes both body and mind, providing deep relaxation. - Ticket exchange is required. Please make sure to exchange your ticket at the ticket exchange counter (Eizan Electric Railway Demachiyanagi Station Information Desk). You cannot board by showing the purchase screen alone.

- Wearing swimsuits is not permitted.

- Upon entering, please come to the front desk on the first floor of the main building. Show the staff your reservation screen (voucher). They will guide you through the facility. Towel and yukata rentals are also handled at the front desk. You may also choose to dine at the restaurant first.
- The indoor bath and open-air bath set includes towels and room wear.
- Towels and room wear are not included for the open-air bath admission.
- Towel rental is available.
- The baths are separated by gender.
- Upon arrival, please first come to the front desk inside the facility and present your reservation voucher.

Redemption information

A day pass that's truly worth it. The train route is fantastic, with really great scenery, so you can even take a hike over a hill and then get back on. The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially in combination with the Onsen card. We used this and arrived safely in Kyoto by train after a hike and an Onsen visit—it's definitely worth it!
The Eizan Electric Railway one-day pass is very convenient. You can visit Kibune and then Kurama all in one trip, and it's great because you can freely hop on and off at any stops in between to explore attractions. After hiking, soaking in a hot spring is truly relaxing.
