What to expect
Want to pack up the beautiful scenery of Kanto in one day? Then this route is definitely for you! Starting from Tokyo at 8 am, head to Hakone with expectations of Japanese scenery. Arrive at Hakone Shrine at 10:30 am and be immediately amazed by the Hakone Shrine Heiwa no Torii - the vermilion torii gate is half-submerged in the clear lake water, and Mount Fuji is faintly visible in the distance. The breeze brushes the lake surface, causing ripples, and the reflection of the torii gate sways accordingly. We recommend taking the Hakone Pirate Ship - the Motohakone-ko Port to Togendai Port route (the experience time is about 30 minutes, guests who need to take it need to control the play time ~) Hakone Sightseeing Cruise is a major highlight on Lake Ashi, a popular spot in Hakone! (Motohakone-ko Port - Togendai Port one way 1200 yen/adult, 600 yen/child, fees are at your own expense) At 12 o'clock, board the Hakone Ropeway. The most beautiful scenery is near Owakudani and between Owakudani and Ubako because you can see beautiful Mount Fuji. The first half of the Ubako to Togendai section mainly overlooks the crater lake scenery of Lake Ashi~ Note: From January 31st to February 20th, the Hakone Ropeway Owakudani Station - Togendai Station section will be suspended. At that time, the ropeway operation section will be adjusted to Sounzan Station - Owakudani Station, and the fee will remain unchanged. Please understand. When you arrive at Owakudani, you can see the white hot air rising between the valleys, and the air is filled with a faint smell of sulfur. The black eggs here are a must-try. Peel the shell and take a bite. The egg white is delicate and the yolk is dense. It is said that eating one can prolong life by seven years. Carry on with this beautiful meaning. In the afternoon, head to Enoshima Island, stroll around the quaint Enoshima Shrine, ask for a love charm, and then overlook the observation deck. Mount Fuji, the sea, and the island form a stunning picture. Finally, with full of memories, embark on the return trip to Tokyo. Although this trip is compact, it is full of surprises.

this tour is great as we were arranged in a small group minivan. the driver is friendly, can speak simple english. he is also very polite and accommodating. the tour itself is very relaxing and enjoyable and not rushing, partly due to our friendly driver who gave us a lot of extra time. two thumbs up overall.

A truly fantastic trip to Hakone, it was simply the perfect combination of timing, location, and people! First of all, the visibility on the 23rd was perfect 💯. Secondly, the attractions in Hakone and Enoshima were particularly rich, from lake views to ocean views, from cable cars to pirate ships! Finally, the tour guide was the beautiful and talented Laner Jin Lan'er, who seamlessly switched between Chinese, English, and Japanese. Her explanations of the attractions were also very informative! The itinerary was flexible and well-organized. Everyone in the group was also very cooperative. I joined the Hakone day trip with Klook today, and the tour guide, Feng Wan-Ting, provided amazing service! She was enthusiastic and professional throughout the entire trip, introducing local history and attractions all the way from Tokyo. She helped arrange the Owakudani ropeway, Lake Ashi cruise, Hakone Shrine visit, and Enoshima tour, managing the time very well so we weren't rushed at all. Feng Wan-Ting is not only fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese, but also very attentive to each member of the group, making the whole trip warm, relaxed, and enjoyable. Highly recommended for friends who want to easily travel to the outskirts of Tokyo. 5-star review!
When we arrived at the pick up point, there's already a huge crowd waiting to board their tour bus. Based on the information from daytour@kaidacn.com, we're unable to find "The tour guide holds a yellow flag and wears a yellow vest" and "license plate no. 3585". We contacted the driver whom turned up later after the huge crowd has gone, in a white down jacket, black hat and jeans, car no. 4264 a 9-seater van. Was told she's just a driver and there was no tour guide! She was fluent in Chinese and Japanese and struggling English. What a pity as there's a non Asian in the group. She's a good driver though. Hakone is really scenic and Owakudani was awesome with the volcanic valley with active sulfur vents. Enjoyed the sunset and Shirasu meal in Enoshima. Overall, it's worth it as we purchased during a promotion.
Contacting the tour guide, Feng Wan-Ting, at the meeting point resulted in a quick response and a smooth boarding process. During the trip, the tour guide also shared the historical background and relevant information about each attraction on the bus, making the journey more enriching. I think the overall itinerary arrangement was quite good, with convenient transportation and smooth progress. I would consider joining another day trip in the future.
Our tour guide, Ms. Wan-ting, provided detailed explanations and managed our time perfectly. We took the pirate ship in Hakone and enjoyed black eggs at Owakudani. In the afternoon, we visited Enoshima, where the scenery along the way was beautiful, and had a delightful day.
The weather was bad when we set off today 🌧️🌧️, but thankfully it cleared up when we reached our destination 🌤️, and we even got to see Mount Fuji! Our day trip to Hakone Shrine, the pirate ship cruise, the Hakone Ropeway, and Enoshima was a fantastic experience.
