Giethoorn is beautiful. The boat seats are a little narrow, but acceptable. The tour guide's presentation was excellent.

The instructions for the tour on the website weren't detailed enough. It only said to meet at Tours & Tickets at a certain time, but it didn't mention that we needed to collect a voucher there before going to another meeting point to board the bus. There was no one waiting there to assist. If my local friend hadn't felt something was off and gone to the counter to ask, we might have missed the tour. As it turned out, after getting the voucher, we had to go to the bus station on the upper level to wait to board. It was just awful.
