- First Stop: Hirano no Hama (Hirano Beach) This spot offers an excellent view and is one of the famous places to see Mount Fuji reflected in the lake (inverted Fuji). In spring and summer, the lakeside is covered in green grass, while in autumn and winter, swans migrate here for the winter, adding a poetic touch.
- Second Stop: Lake Yamanaka (Choose from KABA amphibious bus, Lake Yamanaka Swan Lake sightseeing boat, or a stroll around Lake Yamanaka, according to your needs) KABA Amphibious Bus—This cute amphibious bus first drives on land and then plunges directly into Lake Yamanaka, transforming into a “boat.” You can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka from both land and water perspectives. This is a tour operated by Gogoday Travel. The tour guide Alex is in-experience and consistently shorten the time spent in every venue. As requested, we started the tour 30 mins earlier and yet he didn’t allow us to spend the stipulated time as per itinerary. Also, as a guide he kept forgetting to offer restroom and lunch stop until a passenger walk up asking driver to stop for restroom.
Today's itinerary went very smoothly, and we were lucky enough to see Mount Fuji 😍. Thank you to our tour guide, Hou Jing, for the assistance throughout the day, helping with photos, and assisting with adjusting the itinerary to make the trip very smooth and fun! 😍🫶🏻
This trip was such a hidden gem. Our guide and driver, Zhang, was amazing. He knew the area really well and explained everything clearly. He was friendly, flexible, and let us adjust the timing since our group had the tour to ourselves. Each stop was self guided, but he always gave helpful recommendations on what to see or try. He also took great photos for us throughout the day. Definitely recommend!
Our tour guide, Zhang Erxi, was friendly and courteous. The driver was also easy to get along with. They were diligent in managing the itinerary schedule. The only drawback was the weather, which prevented us from taking the amphibious bus tour and seeing Mount Fuji.
The tour guide was excellent and thoughtfully planned everything. They provided explanations at every stop, and the itinerary wasn't rushed. I really enjoyed the pace, making it perfect for those who prefer slow travel.
The trip experience was truly amazing. The driving skills were consistently steady, calm and collected, even on mountain roads, curves, or busy streets. It was so smooth that even I, who usually gets carsick easily, felt very comfortable and safe. He was very familiar with the routes and had excellent time management, picking us up and dropping us off at each stop on time, without any delays to the itinerary. He was truly professional! He even gave us a free ride back to the hotel. Thank you for the lovely leader we met on this trip.
