[Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival] Every year from late January to mid-February, Lake Shikotsu hosts a grand event called the “Chitose Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival (支笏湖氷濤まつり)”, showcasing ice sculptures made from the clear and clean water of Lake Shikotsu. These ice sculptures are created by spraying Lake Shikotsu water with high-pressure water jets and then freezing it. During the day, these ice sculptures have a crystal-clear appearance, and they emit a natural blue color under the sunlight, which local residents call “Lake Shikotsu Blue.”

The minimum group size is 6 people. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum group size specified above, the tour will be canceled, and an email notification of the tour cancellation will be sent 8 days before departure.
Children must purchase products corresponding to their age. Incorrect purchases or failure to purchase may result in the inability to participate in the tour.
Children under 2 years old are not provided with meals.
Passengers under 2 years old do not include tickets and need to purchase tickets on site.
The actual time to visit each attraction on the day depends on the traffic conditions and the number of participants. If the visiting facilities are closed or have limited admission hours, the itinerary for the day will be changed. Thank you for your understanding.
