Surcharge table
- All surcharges are payable in cash directly to the driver
- Outside service hours: JPY 5,000 per hour (7-seat, 10-seat, or 14-seat);JPY 10,000 per hour (18-seat or 22-seat)
- Extra mileage surcharges will apply if the total journey goes over 100km or 300km depending on the package you choose.
- Outside service hours surcharge will apply if service ends after 22:00
- Once you have placed a booking, the operator may reconfirm with you the amount in advance and will be in touch to notify you of your applicable surcharges

We booked a private day car rental with Haruko for our photoshoot in Kyoto, and we truly cannot thank her enough. Planning a shoot involves so much logistics, but Haruko made everything completely seamless. She was incredibly professional, punctual, and navigated the city effortlessly, ensuring we made it to every single location. Beyond her amazing driving skills, she was so warm, friendly, and genuinely wonderful to spend the day with. Her kind energy made the entire experience so much fun and completely stress-free.
We had requested an English speaking driver but unfortunately the driver was not an English speaking! though we communicated ok through App and were able to manage without any major issue. It was Klook’s issue to not provide English speaking. Our driver Lee was very courteous! Unfortunately we had rain for half day but they had enough umbrellas for all of us. He followed the route we suggested and dropped us back on time. I would definitely recommend this activity!
The driver arrived earlier than scheduled and was very kind. I told them where I wanted to go, and they drove safely. My family of 10x people had a perfect day with our driver, Edan! he was extremely accommodating and communicative on our drive from Higashiyama to Arashiyama to Kifune shrine (note: going as far north in Kyoto as Kifune will prompt extra fees from Klook). He even had recommendations on places for us to eat afterwards. We will definitely be booking with Edan again next time!
This time, a group of eight of us chartered a car to tour Kyoto and see the cherry blossoms, and Yoshiwara Travel provided excellent service. Wonderful to have our driver to drive us all day around Kyoto! We managed to see lots of places without worrying about transportation. Kyoto is not as easy to go places with public transit. And it was difficult to get taxi all day during Golden week. Thanks for our driver. He was great!
