Stand across the street and use portrait mode or a wide-angle lens to capture Mount Fuji, the streetscape, and the convenience store all in one frame, easily taking Japanese-style travel blockbusters 📷. ⚠️ Please cross the road carefully when taking photos and be sure to pay attention to traffic safety.
🍵 Lake Kawaguchiko Matcha Experience | Feel the Japanese Tea Ceremony Culture Lake Kawaguchiko is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and has the longest shoreline. The scenery varies with the four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, green in summer, autumn leaves, and winter snow, making it one of the best viewing spots for Mount Fuji. Experience traditional matcha making by the lake, personally whisk and taste tea under the guidance of a teacher, and feel the “Ichigo Ichie” hospitality of the Japanese tea ceremony. Afterward, you can stroll along the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, enjoying Mount Fuji while taking beautiful lake views 🌿.
🚡 Kachikachi-yama Ropeway | Overlook Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko Panorama Take the Lake Kawaguchiko Panoramic Ropeway, and in just a few minutes, you can reach the observation deck at an altitude of 1075 meters. From the summit, Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko are all in view, and on a clear day, you can even see the Southern Alps in the distance. The “Bell of Tenjo” at the summit is said to grant wishes when rung 🔔. From May 11 to July 15, 2026, and December 7 to December 18, 2026, the Lake Kawaguchiko Ropeway will be closed for maintenance. During this period, you will go to the Lake Kawaguchiko Pleasure Boat - Tenjo-go (Sengoku Warlord Ship).
⛵ Sengoku Warlord Ship (Ropeway Closure Alternative) If the ropeway is closed due to weather, you will take the Lake Kawaguchiko Sengoku Warlord-themed sightseeing boat instead. The boat is designed with the Takeda army’s emblem “Takeda Hishi” and red as its theme, offering a 360° view of the magnificent Mount Fuji scenery while sailing on the lake.
💧 Oshino Hakkai | Secret Spring Oasis at the Foot of Mount Fuji Known as the “Little Jiuzhaigou at the Foot of Mount Fuji,” Oshino Hakkai consists of eight clear springs formed by the melting snow of Mount Fuji filtered through geological layers over many years. The crystal-clear spring water and the distant Mount Fuji complement each other, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts 📸.

Mt Fuji is a very crowded place, popular with tourists and residents alike. But we were able to arrive at our destinations before crowds began to gather tremendously. Pickup was just in time and our tour guide was fluent, very friendly, and was able to talk to with us very easily. The time to get to each stop was perfect despite the said distance and each location had something different in store which was enjoyable for everyone. Our tour guide had some very useful tips for where and when to visit different places that we’ve never heard of before. Each destination allowed us to learn more of the Japanese culture, tips and tricks, hotspots, and places for the family to get away. Overall, it was a very pleasant time and I’d highly recommend this to anyone who’d like to partake in a private tour around Mt Fuji.
Had a great day with our guide, Nicklaus. he is conversant in both English and Mandarin, switching between both languages at each attraction very fluently. He was also able to help translate for us during our matcha class. very impressed. He even brought us to an additional attraction with no extra cost! Truly appreciate!
We had an amazing experience on this tour. We love that it is a small group (less than 9) and that the guide Jiaoying (apologies if my spelling is wrong) was amazing and accommodating, always professional and friendly. The hotel pickup is godsent, making it very convenient indeed. there was ample time to go thru all venue attractions, though perhaps more time at Lake Kawaguchi may have been ideal :) I definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a convenient & fuss free tour. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
