2-Day Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour with Government Licensed English Guide!

The journey itself was definitely not easy — not only the climb up, but the descent as well. We were very fortunate to have Owada-san, who is a very experienced guide. He knew the mountain well, guided us through less crowded routes whenever possible, and did his best to look after everyone in the team. We felt very safe under his guidance. 🙏 One suggestion for the organisation would be to consider having two guides for each group, especially for a challenging climb like Mt. Fuji. As everyone has a different pace, having a second guide at the back would allow the slower members to receive more support without holding back the rest of the group. Overall, it was a challenging but very memorable experience, and we are truly thankful to Owada-san for taking such good care of us throughout the journey. 🏔️❤️

what a beautiful experience! it was difficult going up and coming down but our tour guide, Koji, made everything smooth! Koji gave us some peace of mind throughout our entire journey. He taught how to properly step when going up the steep slopes and going up rocky areas. He always motivated us when we felt tired. Goooo team Koji! (he gave us that team name! lol). He was with us the entire way and never lost track of the group.

met alot of new people here on this tour! transfer was easy and fussfree too, however guide wasnt the most approachable, but the experience and views of mt fuji made up for it!

It's said that roughly half of those who attempt to climb Mount Fuji, Japan's highest peak, successfully reach the summit. Unfortunately, this time, we weren't among that successful half.

Overall not a good experience as first, it took me 10-15 mins to find the bus which I ask them that this is my group. But they didn’t understand anything that I said, had to find the bus. Secondly the guide need to understand that some people are new to hiking Mt Fuji and a little slow. Guide was good but the pace he went was quite fast, leaving a few people behind. Lastly, who would decent from 7th Station to 5th station, where I already paid the full amount 🤦🏻‍♂️the guide keep asking me to go down cause I am slow

The group consist of different people with different climbing speed capability. A few slower people were left behind without guide. Only good thing is that the guide is the last person to descend , making sure everbody is able to descend the mountain

The trip up and down Mt. Fuji was all good, the itinerary was good. It would have been better if the guide could recommend when the rented equipment can be best used. Shortly before we start the climb, I put on the gloves, but the guide said "not now, no need" As we ascended further, there was area that using hands to support would greatly help the climb. I had to do it without the gloves as I was not informed in advance. The whole trip spiral downhill when the bus broke down. There was not alterate

It's a bit of a mixed bag. First, the good: the guide was great! The bad, however, involves several things. We were informed that we needed to bring coins for toilet visits. But this also applies to water. That adds up to quite a few coins when water costs 600 (probably 5 times the normal price) and toilet visits are 100-300 yen. We had paid for a shirt, but we weren't allowed to keep it. Additionally, the last part of the tour was canceled due to bad weather. It's hard to account for, but others in the group still went the last leg; we were never given that option. It was an expensive trip, but our expectations were not met. Only the guide brings the tour up to a 2-star rating.
