Good to know
- Regarding accommodation: Hotel twin rooms are arranged by default, with 2 adults per room. This itinerary does not allow for shared rooms. If you are traveling with an odd number of adults, please be sure to purchase 1 "single room supplement"; for single travelers, a separate room will be arranged for you; for 3 adults traveling, an additional "single room supplement" will be purchased, and two rooms will be arranged for you.
- Restrictions for special groups and health notice: 1. This route involves high-altitude Tibetan areas, and children under 7 years old are not suitable to participate; those with a history of heart, lung, brain, blood system diseases, severe anemia, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, arteriosclerosis, asthma, Alzheimer's disease, mental illness, physical/intellectual disabilities, cancer, etc., as well as pregnant women, infants, those in the recovery period of major surgeries, those with limited mobility, and other individuals unsuitable for travel are not recommended to register. Those registering on behalf of others should also verify the health status of the person being registered. If the registrant or the person registering on behalf of others conceals their health status, they will be responsible for the consequences.
- Infants (14 days to 2 years old) cannot be accommodated. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult traveler. Seniors over 60 years old should follow doctor's advice and travel cautiously based on their physical condition; a statement of physical condition must be truthfully provided before joining the tour. If a medical history or unsuitable health condition is concealed when joining the tour, the travel agency has the right to refuse participation or terminate the contract and arrange for return travel. Fees already incurred and non-refundable will not be refunded, and the remaining balance will be refunded as actual. Any personal injury, property loss, and additional expenses caused by concealing health conditions shall be borne by the traveler, and the travel agency shall not be held responsible.
- If a tourist leaves the group or changes the itinerary midway due to personal reasons, it will be considered an automatic waiver, and the travel agency will not refund any fees. Other expenses and safety issues arising therefrom shall be borne by the tourist.
- The plateau has high altitude, strong sunlight, and large temperature differences between morning and evening. Long-sleeved shirts, wool sweaters, jackets, down jackets, etc., should be prepared. It is also recommended to bring sunglasses, sun hats, sunscreen, lip balm, and medicines to prevent altitude sickness.
- Before and during the trip, try to eat less spicy food, avoid smoking and drinking, pay attention to rest and adjustment, and absolutely avoid catching a cold.
- This route is located in a remote area. Sometimes due to road maintenance, some sections of the road are subject to traffic control, which can easily cause traffic jams and prevent on-time meals. Also, some parts of the itinerary involve long driving times. You can prepare an appropriate amount of food in advance to stave off hunger (bread, chocolate, biscuits, etc.) for emergencies.
- Due to speed limits, traffic control, road conditions, long driving distances, and other reasons, the itinerary time cannot be accurately controlled, resulting in slight discrepancies between actual times and those disclosed on the page, and even affecting the itinerary. Tourists should be mentally prepared; if irresistible factors (such as altitude sickness, road construction, landslides, vehicle accidents, etc.) are encountered during the trip, our agency has the right to adjust the itinerary and accommodation while keeping the attractions unchanged. If this results in overspending, the guest will be responsible for the additional costs; if the itinerary is affected, the travel agency will assist tourists in resolving the issue but will not bear the resulting losses. If additional expenses are incurred, tourists are kindly requested to bear them themselves.
- Please do not easily believe in purchasing various local specialties and ornaments promoted by small vendors. They are expensive and their quality cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for any items purchased by yourself. This is a personal act and has nothing to do with the travel agency or the driver/guide.
- The route passes through Tibetan areas. Tourists are requested to respect local religious beliefs, customs, and folk traditions. Do not quarrel or conflict with locals. Try not to go out alone at night. If you need help, please provide feedback in the group or contact the driver. Abide by the travel agency's arrangements and do not leave the group without authorization, otherwise, any resulting injuries will be borne by the tourist.
- The economy in Western Sichuan is relatively underdeveloped, and accommodation conditions are limited. Please do not compare them with accommodation conditions in developed areas in the interior and coastal regions. Thank you for your understanding. Most local hotels use solar water heaters, which supply hot water for a limited time; please bring your own toiletries and towels.
- If the trip is canceled or postponed for any reason other than the travel agency's fault at 12:00 PM the day before departure or later, a vehicle loss fee will be charged.
- The itinerary does not provide natural single rooms. If a single male or female cannot share a room, or if a guest requests a single room, the single room supplement will be at their own expense, and children do not occupy a bed.
- The specific vehicle model cannot be specified and will be subject to actual arrangements.
- For small group travel, vehicle carrying capacity is limited, and each person should bring a suitcase no larger than 24 inches.
