- You can enter the park directly with your original ID card.
- Hold a foreign passport / Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, exchange tickets at the visitor center to enter the park.
- Must choose: Sightseeing car (scenic area is large, high altitude)
- Optional: Boat tour (Mugecuo Lake tour)
- The scenic area's altitude is 2600-3780 meters, please pay attention to protection against the cold and altitude sickness.
- The best time to visit Mugecuo Lake is in the afternoon, as the light is better for taking pictures.
- The temperature difference between day and night in the scenic area is large, it is recommended to bring a warm coat.

How to get there
- Self-driving: Chengdu → G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway → G4218 Ya'an-Yecheng Expressway → Kangding → Mugecuo, approximately 7 hours
- Public Transportation: Take a bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Station to Kangding (approximately 6 hours), then hire a car or share a ride to get there (approximately 17 kilometers).

In winter, you can not only enjoy breathtaking snow views but also experience boiling eggs in hot springs at a very affordable price. It’s a wonderful experience.

Kangding Love Song Scenic Area in Sichuan lives up to its reputation. Sichuan is not only home to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area—I think this place is also incredibly beautiful, and I highly recommend it.
