Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this tour. The trip was extremely well organised and took us to many amazing areas of West Sichuan which would have been difficult to get to ourselves. Our driver Jia Wei Shi Fu was fantastic and made the long drives as comfortable and smooth as they could be. the concierge staff were also very helpful with booking our attraction tickets and extremely responsive to any questions or requests. As foreigners, we spoke only a bit of mandarin but we were able to manage using translate apps and still had a great time so I don’t think it’s an issue if you don’t speak mandarin. I can highly recommend this tour to others looking to explore this incredible part of China.
We booked this 6-day small loop tour half a month in advance. The 7-seater business van for 5 people was incredibly comfortable and spacious, allowing us to recline and rest during the journey, which is crucial for long trips. The itinerary gradually increased in altitude, starting from Mount Siguniang and slowly moving towards Litang and Yading. Neither of us experienced any significant altitude sickness throughout the trip. The vehicle was equipped with an oxygen concentrator and portable oxygen tanks, which was a thoughtful detail. Choosing this Klook tour was definitely the right decision. As for the scenery, words can't describe it; every day brought new views—snow-capped mountains, grasslands, prayer flags, and forests. My phone's memory was constantly full! Highly recommended!!
Our whole family went on this 6-day tour, and everyone was very satisfied! From Maobiliang Observation Deck to Mount Siguniang, and then to Daocheng Yading, every scenic spot was enchanting. The children especially loved Moerduo Stone Park and Gulong Village, where they could take incredibly beautiful photos. The accommodations were excellent; both the 3-star and 4-star hotels were very comfortable, and the service was attentive. The horseback riding experience during the trip was also very fun, and the children absolutely loved it. The entire itinerary was very well-planned, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery without getting too tired, making it perfect for a family trip.
Our 6-day trip to Western Sichuan has come to a successful end, and I must wholeheartedly give our driver, Master Jinlong, a huge commendation! Along the way, we crossed snow-capped mountains and traversed plateaus. The weather was unpredictable, and road conditions were complex, especially when we encountered heavy snow, making the roads slippery and visibility low. Master Jinlong consistently drove with composure, demonstrating excellent and meticulous skills. He drove steadily and slowly, always prioritizing safety. Sitting in his car, even with the blizzard outside, we felt completely at ease. Master Jinlong is not only a skilled driver but also a warm and reliable person. When some members of our group experienced altitude sickness, he noticed immediately, helped with oxygen, and carefully looked after everyone, which deeply touched us. He also knows how to have fun—he took us to the best spots to photograph the snow mountains, showed us the starry sky late at night, and even found places where marmots appeared. These surprising moments became the most unforgettable memories of our trip. With him along, we not only felt safe but also discovered many unexpected sights and joys. Master Jinlong, thank you for your hard work these past few days! We wish you safe travels, smooth sailing in everything you do, and that you continue to show more travelers the most beautiful side of Western Sichuan 🙏 We also thank our itinerary manager for the full coordination and efficient responses. Everyone worked hard!
We had a wonderful Sichuan trip. Our driver was very experienced and friendly. The trip was well arranged, and we had enough time to explore the places. The highlights of the trip were Siguniang Mountain and Daocheng Yading. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed the beautiful views. The travel agency was very responsive to our messages and always helpful. We had a great experience and highly recommend them. one suggestion is to put in a remarks if you want non smoking room during the trip
My friends and I took this 6-day Daocheng Yading and Four Sisters Mountain tour, and the itinerary was incredibly rich and offered excellent value for money, giving me a deeper understanding of Western Sichuan. My favorite spots were the Shuangqiao Valley in Four Sisters Mountain and the Yala Snow Mountain Scenic Area. The snow-capped peaks in Shuangqiao Valley were breathtakingly beautiful, especially when the sun made the white-covered mountaintops sparkle—it was a photographer's paradise! Yala Snow Mountain's scenery also deeply impressed me; the meadows at the foot of the mountain and the distant snow-capped peaks complemented each other, creating a serene yet magnificent view. Additionally, Tagong Grassland left a lasting impression. Standing on the vast grassland, looking out at the expansive plains merging with the distant snow mountains and the horizon, gave an indescribable sense of openness. We also experienced traditional Tibetan welcoming ceremonies, which were very unique. The entire trip was well-paced, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fully experience Tibetan culture. Highly recommended!
The two of us took this 6-day, 5-night trip to Western Sichuan, and the overall experience was excellent. The travel agency's itinerary was very well-planned; we never felt rushed each day, and we were very satisfied with the hotels chosen—they were clean and comfortable. The scenic views we saw along the way were absolutely stunning; the snow-capped mountains, grasslands, and lakes were all incredibly breathtaking. I especially want to commend our driver; his driving skills were very steady, making us feel safe on the mountain roads, and the car was always kept very clean. We were able to see beautiful scenery at any time along the route, and we had a wonderful time on this trip. Thank you to the travel agency for your thoughtful arrangements; we will definitely choose you again if we have the opportunity!
Itinerary: The 6-day, 5-night itinerary was well-organized. It would be nice to have more time to explore Litang. Transportation: We chose a 9-seater vehicle, which was comfortable and clean. Driver Dao's time management was excellent. Accommodation: We stayed 5 nights, and each accommodation was comfortable and included breakfast. Attractions: Each attraction was beautiful. The Four Girls Mountain scenery was bright and beautiful; Yala Snow Mountain – go horseback riding to see the lake; remember to bring sunglasses 😎 and an umbrella 🌂 to Moshi Park; the Tibetan costume photoshoot was also beautiful; the weather in Yading, Daocheng is unpredictable. Sunscreen and wet wipes are very important. There are fruits and oxygen tanks sold along the way. If you need more, you can buy them in town.
I'd heard about the scenery in Sichuan for a long time, and after a lot of mental preparation (I was worried about altitude sickness), I finally signed up. Many of the major attractions were truly breathtaking. The wind on Yala Snow Mountain was incredibly strong; I almost got blown away, haha. Besides the scenery, I also experienced a lot of Tibetan culture and characteristics along the way, which was very different from my usual city life. It felt very relaxing for my mind. It's definitely worth experiencing.
I've wanted to visit Daocheng Yading ever since I saw it in the movie "I Belonged to You." This time, I combined it with a trip to Mount Siguniang, and what impressed me most throughout the journey was actually the scenery along the way. The towering mountains, ubiquitous in Western Sichuan, and the diverse, colorful lakes within the scenic areas were all incredibly captivating! The travel agency's arrangements were also very reasonable; in higher altitude areas, accommodations were equipped with oxygen, which is very helpful for those not accustomed to high-altitude environments.
Good to know
- During peak season, tickets for the Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area of Mount Siguniang will be limited. Please purchase tickets and sightseeing bus tickets in advance. The Yala Snow Mountain scenic area will be closed during heavy rain, hail, or heavy snow. The scenic area closes around October 30th each year, and if closed, entry is not permitted. During rainy or snowy weather, it is not possible to go up Balang Shendu Mountain, as the scenery is not visible and the road is dangerous. During holidays, traffic jams are severe, which may prevent going up or down the mountain. Local forest fire prevention requirements may also lead to closures.
- This itinerary involves a high intensity of travel. Please ensure you are in good health and suitable for travel. If there are participants aged 70 (inclusive) or above, they cannot join the tour. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Due to limited service capacity, this itinerary cannot accommodate infants (14 days to under 2 years old).

- [Regarding the Use of Oxygen Equipment]
- Dear guests, due to the recent peak travel season, the supply of in-car oxygen concentrators is tight. We will prioritize equipping teams with oxygen concentrators. If not available, each person will be provided with 2-3 portable oxygen cylinders.
- If the oxygen cylinders are insufficient, please @ the housekeeper in the group, and we will coordinate with the driver to replenish them in a timely manner.
- Special reminder: For mild altitude sickness, continuous oxygen inhalation is not recommended. Intermittent oxygen inhalation when uncomfortable is more effective.
