- According to scenic area regulations
- Based on the bamboo raft's load-bearing safety standards, tourists weighing more than 100KG must ride a bamboo raft alone. Tourists whose combined weight exceeds 160KG must ride separately. Tourists exceeding the weight limit should purchase additional tickets on-site. Tourists weighing more than 160KG cannot ride the bamboo raft.
- Children one meter (inclusive) or taller must ride with an adult. Each raft is limited to 2 people. Those one meter (inclusive) or taller must purchase a ticket.
- Pregnant women, disabled persons, patients with heart disease, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, etc., as well as children under 1 meter (exclusive) and seniors aged 70 (inclusive) or above are prohibited from riding the bamboo raft.

We had a great day and enjoyed all the activities, especially the bamboo rafting (we did get wet though so bring a spare pair of pants!). The tour guide picked us up at the hotel entrance right on time. The itinerary included tickets for a boat tour of Xingping Ancient Town and a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River, with the bamboo raft being a particularly unique experience. It would have been better if the guide had provided more commentary about the attractions in Guilin. Additionally, due to insufficient participants, the tour was changed from a bus group to a private tour, requiring an extra payment. However, the travel agency only informed us the day before departure, leaving us no choice. Furthermore, the intermediary company did not provide basic information such as the meeting time and location for the next day until after 10 PM, requiring repeated prompting. The arrangements were unreasonable. During the self-paid lunch, the guide arranged a restaurant for us; we would have preferred more options.
Overall a good trip, and guide was knowledgeable and helped us skip a rafting queue which would have been an hour long. The only drawback was the old van used on the day, which was quite bumpy and smelled of petrol fumes inside resulting in an uncomfortable ride. Itinerary was great.
I didn’t regret to book because the team was so professional since the beginnings and Mr.Min was so kind with me even I’m no speaker Chinese. Thanks so much was amazing do hesitate because the service was 5 stars.

Had a great tour guide 👍🏻. They provided timely coordination, shared insights/introductions/important notes about traveling in Guilin and Yangshuo. It was just a little hot.
Our guide Chen Chen (陈陈）is punctual and courteous. very thoughtful and shared with us insights of the places we visited. he even bought us tangerines that were in season.
The reservation was for a 50-person bus, but since it was the rainy season and no one showed up, a car was arranged instead. The driver provided excellent service. Unfortunately, we couldn't do the bamboo rafting due to the rapids, but the company refunded ¥100 per person and we went to Silver Cave instead.

👥 Group Formation Rules: Bus tours require a minimum of 1 person to book, but a minimum of 6 people to form a group and depart. If a group cannot be formed during the off-peak season, customer service will contact you to negotiate a reschedule or a full refund. For small groups of 8 people, vehicle arrangements are made based on the number of participants: 1-4 people will be assigned a 5-seater car, 5-6 people a 7-seater car, and 7-8 people a 9-seater minivan.
⏰ Schedule: The group tour departure time is approximately 7:00 AM, and the itinerary generally ends at 6:00 PM, followed by a return to the hotel or original pick-up point. The exact meeting time will be re-notified the day before the tour; please arrive 10 minutes in advance.
Warm Reminders for Yulong River Double Bamboo Rafting: I. Safety and Health Restrictions (Applicable to all raft types)
- Pregnant women, seniors aged 70 and above (including 70), individuals with heart disease, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, those under the influence of alcohol, and individuals with mobility impairments are strictly prohibited from riding the bamboo raft.
- Children 1 meter and taller (including 1 meter) must ride with an adult, and the child occupies one seat.
- Please take good care of your personal belongings. If items accidentally fall into the water, you will be responsible for the loss.
- Pets are strictly prohibited from riding the raft.
II. Special Instructions for Double Bamboo Rafts
- Weight Limit: Passengers weighing over 200 jin (100 kg) individually must charter the entire raft (priced as a chartered raft); the combined weight of two people must not exceed 320 jin (160 kg). Please be aware of this.
- Riding Restrictions: According to scenic area regulations, pregnant women and disabled individuals are strictly prohibited from riding double bamboo rafts; children under 1 meter and seniors over 70 years old are not allowed to ride double bamboo rafts. Such visitors may choose to ride an 8-person bamboo raft or opt for a riverside walk. If needed, please contact customer service in advance for coordination.
- Fee Explanation: Double bamboo rafts are manually operated and require a minimum of 2 people to depart. If a single person rides, an empty seat fee must be paid.
