- The [Yulong River] is known as the "Little Biyun, Yangshuo's Little Li River." The entire journey features pristine pastoral landscapes, with bamboo rafts slowly navigating, propelled by poles. Both banks are lined with continuous rice paddies, scattered strange peaks, and small bridges over flowing water. Without the roar of motorized engines, you can leisurely drift amidst the green mountains and clear waters, fully enjoying the tranquility of the countryside.

- Because Li River cruises operate under a real-name ticketing system, a photo of the information page of your passport (the page with your document number and photo) is required when issuing tickets. - You can be picked up near your hotel for this tour. We will notify you of the pick-up location and time for the next day via email the evening before. Please check your emails or answer phone calls accordingly. Itinerary Details:
- 07:10-07:40 Free hotel pick-up within Guilin city center (Xiufeng, Diecai, Qixing, and Xiangshan districts). The exact time is subject to the notice received the evening before the tour;
- 09:30-10:30 Take a 4-star sightseeing cruise on the Li River, taking in the scenic landscape scroll from Yangdi Pier to Caoping Pier;
- 12:00-13:30 Stroll through the millennial ancient town of Xingping, head to the pier to photograph the background scenery of the 20-yuan RMB banknote (during China's National Day, Labor Day, or Spring Festival holidays, if traffic congestion prevents entry into the ancient town, this attraction visit will be cancelled);
- 14:00-15:30 Take a leisurely bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River from Lansheng Bridge or Longtan Pier, with an optional 2-person or multi-person bamboo raft water-splashing drift;
- 15:50-16:15 Photo check-in at the Moon Viewing Path in the Ten-Mile Gallery;
- 16:15-18:00 Return to Guilin by vehicle. Today’s Highlights: A Natural Scroll of Interdependent Mountains and Waters
- Sail from Caoping Pier to Yangdi and unlock a niche, tranquil, and essential section of the Li River! Board a 4-star sightseeing cruise, frame your shots freely from the top open-air deck, journey through a natural ink-wash scroll all the way, and truly experience the Guilin landscape imagery of "the boat traveling on top of green mountains."
- Xingping Ancient Town: Check in at the 20-yuan RMB real-life landscape viewing platform, backed by the bizarre peaks of the Li River, stroll through the millennial old street with its staggered blue-brick and ancient alleys, and freely wander around to frame your shots or rest as you please.
- Yulong River Bamboo Raft Drifting: Manually-polled bamboo rafts drifting peacefully amidst pastoral landscapes and waters, with continuous peaks and ridges and crisscrossing rice paddies on both banks. Choose between a 2-person or multi-person bamboo raft to slowly and immersively appreciate the pastoral scenery of Yangshuo. Note: Issuing tickets for the Li River cruise requires providing the front page of your passport (the page with your photo and name). Please send it to customer service via WeChat or email after booking. There are age restrictions for the Yulong River 2-person bamboo raft. Children under 1 meter in height and seniors over 70 years old should choose the multi-person bamboo raft package.

I absolutely loved this tour! The Li River and the incredible karst mountains around Guilin are breathtakingly beautiful and truly something everyone should see at least once. A special thank you to our guide - she was amazing! I was the only foreign tourist in the group, and she was incredibly attentive throughout the entire trip. She regularly sent me all the important information separately via WeChat, which made everything very easy and comfortable for me. She also made sure I always knew where to go and never got lost. Another lovely touch was that during the trip she kept offering us different local snacks and interesting things to try. It made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. Everything was very well organized, the scenery was spectacular, and the guide made the experience even better. One of the highlights of my trip to Guilin. Highly recommended!
Guilin Li River Four-Star Cruise + Yulong River Bamboo Raft Day Trip - This itinerary absolutely deserves a five-star rating! I just picked this route on a whim, but it turned out to be an unforgettable part of our trip. The four-star cruise experience was perfect; standing at the bow, feeling the breeze, listening to the melodious music, and watching the moving landscape scroll before my eyes. There were even a few moments when I completely forgot I had kids with me 😂. For children who grew up abroad, this was their first time experiencing the breathtaking beauty of China's landscapes so directly, which was more impactful than me telling them a hundred times how great China is. The itinerary was well-paced but not rushed, covering all the essential sights, and the bamboo raft ride was especially charming. The boatman taught us how to paddle the bamboo raft; it looked easy but was actually quite strenuous. The kids loved trying to catch fish and play in the water from the moving raft. I also want to give a special shout-out to our tour guide, Ah Mei. Her explanations were lively and engaging, and she even sang folk songs for us for free. She was patient, meticulous, and kind throughout the entire trip. Unfortunately, I have other plans and can't write a longer review, but I sincerely want to say: this tour is suitable for families with children, seniors, or even just for yourself.
It was great. I managed to navigate well without getting lost among the Chinese tourists.
