It is a must while traveling in Hong Kong. You can use it in MTR, buses, shopping and food stores. Highly recommended! You can reload it in MTR stations and 7-Eleven and you can also download the app to check your transactions and remaining balance.
During my recent trip, I used the HK Tourist Octopus Card from Klook and it made exploring the city and nearby areas incredibly convenient and budget-friendly. The card was easy to purchase and preloaded with 50HKD with clear instructions that you can refund the remaining balance before your departure. It was perfect for visiting multiple attractions without worrying about individual ticket costs. I could hop on and off trains throughout the day, making spontaneous stops at scenic spots and local markets. The card also saved me time by skipping long ticket queues. It felt like a great value for the price, especially for travelers who plan to move around a lot. Overall, I highly recommend the HK Tourist Octopus Card from Klook to anyone visiting the area. It’s a smart, hassle-free way to explore and make the most of your travel experience. redemption guide: go to A13 price:big discount transport included: preloaded with 50HKD pass area coverage:you can use it to train, bus, 711, etc
Thanks Octopus Card for making my first international commute experience efficient and convenient. Just one tap when riding MTR, paying in Restaurants and shopping in malls in Hong Kong. highly recommended to purchase this card for faster and easier daily travel needs.
You have to go to the arrivals at A13. There's a counter; you won't miss it. It's on the right side if you're facing the gate outside; it's on the right side of the pret a manger. It's also easy to spot; there's a label "A13." Additionally, I enjoyed using the Metro. You can use it everywhere, buying food, or at 7-Eleven, as most restaurants use it. However, the only downside is that it is very expensive, but unavoidable. Remember, you cannot top up using a card; you have to use cash at 7-Eleven.
Exchange (Usage) Guide: When you arrive at the airport, as soon as you come out to area A in the arrival hall, you will see counter A13 right in front of you. You can exchange your items there. If you charge it with about $500 in cash, you can use it for at least two days. You can always recharge it at convenience stores. Coins are really a headache, but these days you can also pay for food at restaurants with the Hong Kong Octopus card. It's so convenient. Be sure to buy one.
This card is really cheap compare to the card that can buy outside. Highly reccommended to purchase before you will arrive in HK and pick up this card in arrival area. This card is very useful in transportation like in bus train ferry and tram. I used also when I went to Macau in purchasing bus ticket. Using card in ferry from Discovery Bay to Central . It is really convenient and can top up to all 7 eleven shops. Highly reccomended to traveller and tourist! Must grab one !
Pick up at Counter A13. No long wait in line. Just show the QR code to the staff, and they'll hand you the card right away. It's convenient and saves you from long queues. The card comes with 50 HKD, and you can top it up at the MTR machine just a short distance from the counter. Then you can head into the city. It's valid for buses, MTR, shops, and convenience stores.
Very convenient to use. Exchange the received QR code at counter number A13 as indicated in the manual, and you can top up the balance at the top-up machine or at convenience stores. It is convenient for traveling or for making payments at various stores.
Getting an Octopus card is a must-have. The MTR is an essential mode of transportation if you want to conveniently travel from one place to another. It’s best to purchase it from Klook.
