Reviews
We recently joined the Kamikōchi Day Tour through Klook, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my Japan trip! The scenery was breathtaking, the itinerary was smooth, and most importantly — our tour guide, Leo, was outstanding.
The tour was organized very well. We started and came back on time. Amy was a very helpful and friendly guide (explained everything in both English and Chinese). Driver was a professional who knew which route to avoid congestion. 3 hours trek in the kamikochi area felt really fast but we were free to explore by ourselves (not in a group).
We're glad we booked this tour. Kamikochi is sooo beautiful. Plus we got it at a discount. Very, very much worth it. Our tourguide was Chinese and couldn't speak English but it's okay as we knew before booking that it was a Chinese tour. So we truly appreciate her effort to translate through her phone what she wanted to let us know. Thanks, Luan. We did the taisho to kappabashi bridge trail 👣 Amazing views. I suggest if you're doing this trail, take a little detour to tashiro pond.
Kamikochi is worth the visit. Is a very scenic walking tour. We were given full 3.5 hrs to explore on our own. Tour guide 小郭 was a chinese speaking guide. She had given full details needed for the walk and had given us good recommendation of places to eat at Nagoya City after the tour. Indeed is a good value for money package. Quality of the bus and driver was good as well.
Good experience as always. the guide was also friendly and cooperative. Although the guide was supposed to speak Chinese, still he explained in Japanese to us as we don't understand Chinese language.
the place is lovely and it gives a relaxing vibe. Our bus guide “Jun” was also a nice person. You can see Monkeys and wild ducks. I prefer going weekdays for lesser crowd.
Ruan Tao and Director Ruan's explanations were very clear. All the tour members were punctual, so we returned to Nagoya Station around 5 PM. We walked from Taisho Pond to Kappa Bridge (about 1.5 hours). The scenery was beautiful, like a painting! Luckily, the weather was great that day with a big, bright sun (it wasn't hot in September, just a bit cool, so you'll need a jacket and hat). Because of this, every photo turned out beautifully. It's just a pity that we didn't have enough time, otherwise I would have liked to continue exploring other routes. I hope to go again next time 🥰🥰🥰 There are quite a few places to eat, including restaurants and snack shops, but you need to be prepared to queue. You need to keep an eye on the time.
I came to Kamikochi on the eve of the mountain closure. As soon as I got off the tour bus and arrived at Taisho Pond, I was deeply attracted by its scenery. The water in the pond was clear and green, and I felt like I was in a paradise. After walking for more than an hour along the way, I arrived at Kappa Bridge. , close to the bridge is a tourist resort on the upper reaches of the Azusagawa River in the southern part of the Hida Mountains (also known as the Northern Alps). Because of its beautiful and unique natural landscape, it has been designated as a "Special Place of Scenic Spot" and "Special Natural Monument", so it is also Japan's One of the most popular tourist attractions.
Clear mountain streams, reflective ponds, forest paths, and snow-capped peaks create an enchanting landscape. Full-day coverage from departure to return; no transfers or complicated logistics— value well beyond the price.
The weather is good, and the guide is helpful. So far, the tour is very cost-efficient and definitely worth the price. We are having a very pleasant experience in the area. It was a bit rushed going through the entire route, so 4 hours of free time would be better. Thank you for the guide Lin, you did a great job.
