Reviews
Was the only person for the training. Trainer Steven was patience and kind throughout. Have learned something new and how to make a nice coffee at home. 谢谢你的教课。
The instructor was very professional and dedicated. During the class, they helped us understand what coffee is, from bean types, roasting, grinding to brewing methods, introducing everything carefully step by step. We also sampled several types of coffee, learning about their taste and flavor, which was really rewarding. I feel like I got a great deal!😆
Such an incredible experience. Steven was an incredible teacher who blended lessons about the history of coffee with the methods of how to brew it in a way that matches my tastes and preferences. He clearly has coffee in his DNA and truly is a master of the art of brewing. His English is very good, and he has a wonderful sense of humor, but we also communicated through a translation app to ensure nothing was missed. What was meant to be a 70-minute small group session turned out to be a one-on-one, individualized experience that lasted over two hours, and I loved every moment. Absolutely worth every penny. The shop is beautiful and their products (that Steven and his wife DO NOT pressure you to purchase) are beautiful and designed specifically by Steven to optimize the taste and aroma of the coffee during the brewing process. I will be bringing my wife, next time, for her to have such a special experience, as well.
Nice experience to spend 90 min to learn about coffee brewing. Course facilitator is generous to share his knowledge for coffee, its history and hand drip techniques. Place offer discounts if you would like to purchases tools or beans. A small place with warm vibe close to Dihua Street.
Located on a quiet alley just off the bustling Dihua Old Street, Teacher Stephen has a humble shop where you can be immersed in the budding culture of specialty coffee. He does a great job in explaining the history of coffee, its role in everyday life, and the rise of specialty coffee culture inspired by the longer and richer history of tea.
☕️ Pour-Over Coffee Workshop Experience Sharing ☕️ This pour-over coffee workshop provided us with a fulfilling and enjoyable afternoon. The instructor not only possessed extensive coffee knowledge but also guided us through the history of coffee development, bean classification, and pour-over techniques in a relaxed and humorous manner. The entire process was perfectly paced, incorporating both theory and practice, which fully engaged everyone. Most impressively, each participant was able to hand-brew a cup to their liking and share and taste each other's creations. This interaction not only added to the fun but also gave us a deeper understanding of the diversity and charm of coffee. The instructor's passion for promoting coffee culture was truly inspiring. They didn't just teach techniques, but also motivated us to continue practicing and exploring at home. This event was more than just a learning experience; it was an inspiration for a lifestyle of refined taste. Thank you very much for this arrangement, and we sincerely recommend it to those who love coffee and want to brew a delicious cup themselves.
This was an absolutely delightful experience. Today, I attended a drip coffee workshop. The instructor was incredibly kind and professional. Not only did I learn how to brew coffee, but I also learned about the history of coffee, different bean varieties, and how water temperature affects the coffee's texture and flavor. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you, instructor. They also have a very comprehensive selection of coffee equipment and bean options here. I highly recommend it to coffee lovers, or even those like me who don't know much about coffee, to chat with the owner. I'm also planning to buy my supplies here before traveling abroad.
I was the only student in that session, so it was really lucky that I get to ask more question from Mr. Chang . It was such a great experience! He really knew their stuff and explained everything in a way that made it super easy to follow. From picking the right grind to pouring just right, every tip was practical and doable at home. I walked away feeling confident (and excited!) to make my own cuppa in my kitchen. Highly recommend!
I had an awesome time learning coffee concepts and brewing techniques with Teacher Steven, he was most helpful and knowledable. Miss Grace was very accomodating with all my questions. They even gave me a gift as an apology for the change of date. My experience was memorable and wonderful, I had a really great time! Don't forget to buy some of their coffee merchandise designed by Teacher Steven. So thankful for the experience. ❤️
Wonderful hand-on experience on hand drip coffee. Highly recommended!
