The HANAZONO Symphony Gondola, designed by Italy's Pininfarina, is the pinnacle of design and comfort, and the 10-seater gondola, manufactured by France's POMA, is the first to be introduced in Japan. (The summer gondola seats 8 people) The cabin has individual-style genuine leather seats with embroidery, and each cabin is equipped with a suspension system.
You can travel to the top of the mountain in about 6 mins one way. If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Yotei, also known as ``Ezo Fuji,'' a famous peak in Hokkaido, and enjoy a superb aerial swim.
There are benches, tables, and hanging chairs near the summit station, making it perfect for a picnic.　Enjoy an elegant lunch while admiring the beautiful scenery from the top of the mountain!

What to expect

HANAZONO summer gondola The state-of-the-art gondola manufactured by France’s POMA, introduced for the first time in Japan, is available for rides and excursions as a summer gondola. During the winter season, the Symphony Gondola, which runs from the beginner course (Juicy Fruit) to the intermediate course (Colley’s Folly), will be rebuilt on the HANAZONO 1st lift side in the summer, allowing you to enjoy a walk in the air. You can go from an altitude of 308m to 658m in about 6 minutes one way. A panoramic view of majestic mountains spreads out beyond the large windows, and on clear days, you can enjoy a superb aerial swim while looking at Mt. Yotei, one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains and the representative peak of Hokkaido.

At the summit station, you can see a 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Yotei (1,989m above sea level), which is called "Ezo Fuji" because of its resemblance to Mt. Fuji, Mt. Yoichi (1,488m above sea level), which straddles Akaigawa village and Sapporo city

It's also nice to take a leisurely walk while admiring the view from the mountaintop surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy Hokkaido's summer while experiencing the great nature of Niseko.

The weather was bad and Mt. Yotei was covered by clouds and fog. There are no shops on the observation deck, and the view of Mt. Yotei is also very limited. I guess it won’t be as beautiful on a clear day.
