Snorkel at Napaling and Swim with the Panglao Sardines

The snorkeling experience in Panglao was pretty good overall, although there were quite a lot of people, the water was a bit cloudy, and there were fewer sardines than we expected. A huge thank you to Alan for taking such good care of us! The photos and videos he took will give us wonderful memories to look back on for years to come. It was great experiencing such a spectacular sardine snorkeling for the first time, much more fun than regular diving spots. The instructor was very nice and took great photos; having the photography experience was really awesome. Although I can't freedive to capture the "Instagrammable" shots, my friends' photos turned out beautifully.

We traveled by motorbike with our guide from the school, and their constant support by my side throughout the snorkeling session allowed me to relax and enjoy myself completely. It was also wonderful that you took so many photos and videos and copied them directly to my iPhone on the spot. The availability of towels for the shower facilities was very convenient, as it meant I only needed to bring my swimsuit and a change of clothes. However, one minor point is that wearing a life jacket was mandatory, and an additional payment of 350 pesos was required on the day. Amazing. The view under water is stunning. The coach are caring. We have 2 coaches for our group of three so is safe and fun. Even you are not a good swimmer can still enjoy!

My boyfriend and I experienced this trip, and our guide Dio was great. We didn't have any freediving experience before, but he patiently encouraged us. Even though we can swim, it felt quite safe without renting a life jacket. Now you can rent one for 300P. The guide will pay attention to our physical condition and adjust the pace accordingly.

We recommend navigating 🧭 to: FREEDIVE ACADEMY PANGLAO. This is the location before you need to purchase a ticket. Be sure not to pay for a ticket to enter and search for the training center. The instructor is great and will definitely take you to see the sardines! The instructor will guide you there, and it's very safe to wear a life jacket even if you can't swim!
