Private Full-Day Chongqing Magical City and Ciqikou Tour

The one-day tour of Chongqing was fantastic. We happened to visit on the third day of the Chinese New Year, so the popular tourist spots, especially Hongya Cave and Liziba, were crowded. We are especially grateful to our guide, Xu Shangjun, and his team of drivers, who skillfully navigated the crowds during the busy holiday period, allowing us to visit all the planned attractions. Xu Shangjun is excellent at managing time and resources, and thanks to his planning, we even had time to enjoy a delicious self-organized lunch of Chongqing-style hotpot. He also helped us resolve an issue at the high-speed rail station where we had trouble confirming our tickets. Thanks to his assistance, we could now easily buy HST train tickets online for the next 20 days and explore several other cities, something that would have been difficult without the train tickets. Unexpectedly, we ran into problems again when we checked into a luxury American hotel in Shenzhen. The three-day reservation I made turned into three rooms on the first night. It was a non-refundable, non-changeable booking, and explaining the situation was difficult. Fortunately, I remembered Xu Shangjun and reached out for help. He provided a solution, and in the end, we were able to extend our stay in the same room for an additional two nights without any extra charges, resolving the issue. Xu Shangjun and his team are professionals who truly understand the needs of foreign visitors traveling in China. We are very fortunate to have met him on our first KLook attraction in Chongqing. He is passionate and professional about his work and always eager to assist tourists in solving any issues they encounter.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of history of the city. visited many places of interest and ate local delicacies. Overall, a recommended tour.
